We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Antes todo era mas simple. Si lo jugaste en su dia, compralo.
Just a cash cow off the original..I purchased it cause of so many good reviews...are they all fake? I used to play the original alot and had alot of fun this is not as good with really no graphic updates or anything. All original and many more bugs...game breaking hours wasted bugs...load times omg wtf is this that wasn't like this in original soooo long for these little maps...I would get a refund but I already played too long. I would not recommend this until they patch it like alot. They fix half of these bugs and not depend on work arounds I will change my review but pretty sad another fail remake.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North — настоящая находка для поклонников вселенной Толкина.
Honestly? This remaster is a waste of money. The game is best played in co-op and is very boring to play solo. And why is remaster bad for co-op? Because for some reason the progress is only saved at host. You have absolutely zero reason to join someone because you won't get NOTHING from it. You only benefit from co-op when you are the host.
I want to love this game but for now, it's gonna be a no from me. This would be such a fun game to play with friends, but as many other reviews have stated, multiplayer is bugged (?) and only the host's game saves progress, not the other two players, and the two people who join the host's game have to play as their characters, not your own. This is incredibly lame, and while several people have posted very convoluted workarounds, I ain't doing all that. A multiplayer game should be playable multiplayer without me having to dance naked on one foot at exactly 6pm on the fourth Tuesday in July during a full moon while singing Swing Low, Sweet Chariot to a group of marmots to progress with friends. Single-player is...a game. I'm glad other people enjoy it and seem to find it playable, but I had to restart the first level three times. THREE. TIMES. THE FIRST LEVEL, TRES VECES. because the AI controls the other two characters like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cordyceps brainwashing an ant to its doom by making it climb a blade of grass and holding up a flashing neon sign begging birds to come devour it. This is a hack & slash game and it is a right royal pain in the ass trying to single-handedly hack or slash your way through hordes of enemies while trying to keep yourself alive as you play ring-around-the-rosie with goblins, dodging arrows like Neo and desperately looking for an opportunity to revive the absolute LEMMINGS that are your two companions. Is it doable? Yeah, if you use enough cheese to make the Swiss jealous. Is it fun? Absolutely not. Aspyr, please, for the love of god, fix this, so I can give you my money and play with my actual human being friends that are competent enough to get through a stage without dying 574 times and using every potion in the whole of Middle-earth.
You have my sword Aspyr if you remaster The Third Age. Also, this game runs well on my older PC, and it hasn't lost its charm. The graphics and voicework range from good enough to "that still looks pretty good". The music is well done even if it doesn't use the official movie music (what a shame!). The gameplay is typical hack and slash (regular and heavy attacks) with a mix of ranged attacks and special abilities. It still feels great to rampage through a bunch of orcs and leave heads and limbs in your wake. Inventory management is still cumbersome. But, let's be realistic: has any ARPG managed to make a workable inventory system? If you're a LotR fan, enjoyed this game when it first came out, and you don't own the original release of this game, this should be an easy purchase decision.
I loved this game when I played it as a young teen. It was pretty disheartening when I went to replay it years later and found out it wouldn’t work on my current consoles, so I had basically abandoned hope of ever being able to play it again. It was such a pleasant surprise to see it re-released this year. 2026 really has been the year of remakes and rereleases, and I’m thankful for it. A lot of games just haven’t seemed to captivate my attention quite the same way they did back in the day, so getting the chance to revisit some of these games has been a lot of fun. As for the game itself, it doesn’t pretend to be anything it’s not. It’s a button-smashing hack-and-slash set in the LOTR universe, and honestly, I think it does that really well. The story takes place alongside the events of the movies, and it’s fun getting to see the northern part of the LOTR world brought to life in a way we don’t really get to see in the films. I’d give the story a 7/10. The action is probably an 8/10 for me. I recognize that this isn’t Dark Souls and isn’t trying to be some incredibly deep combat system. It’s a fairly simple hack-and-slash, and I think it does that job well. The gameplay and controls are intuitive and simplistic, so I’d give those a 9/10. That brings my overall rating to an 8/10. Definitely worth a play, especially if you have nostalgia for the game or just enjoy the LOTR universe.
