14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Just as good as I remember. Glad they are doing these games.
I loved the Two Towers and Return of the King games growing up, but I never got around to playing this game. All these years later, I can confidently say it's a blast. Story: the game runs parallel to the events of the LOTR trilogy. You're a party of three, a dwarf, an elf mage and a human ranger. The Fellowship is busy with their quest to destroy the ring, but there's a growing threat in the north. A large army led by a sorcerer is running around, and it's your job to take care of them so they don't join up with Sauron's other troops and find the Fellowship. You'll visit some familiar places like the Barrow Downs and Rivendell, encounter various characters like Aragorn and Elrond, but you'll see plenty of new places too and make friends with the eagles. The preexisting characters are clearly modeled after the likeness of the actors from Peter Jackson's trilogy, and while none of them voice their roles, the voice acting is fairly solid across the board. Gameplay: this is a fairly simplistic hack-n-slash. You've got a basic attack, a heavy attack, a ranged attack (the dwarf's explosive crossbow is insanely good), and three special moves. You won't be pulling off any elaborate combos, but the combat is very satisfying. There's a good weight behind the weapons, swing a giant axe into an orc and it feels appropriately crunchy. Hit something enough and an icon will pop up over their head, that's your cue to use a heavy attack, which will knock off a head or a limb. Since this was designed to be a multiplayer game, after you finish a level the game tallies the stats of everyone in the party. Much to my delight, "number of limbs severed" is an actual stat it keeps track of. I can't comment on how the multiplayer functions since I played this by myself, but even solo it's a lot of fun. The AI controlling your companions is fairly adequate. The elf mage is good about using her healing shield when needed, but the ranger is a bit odd. You can spec him into a stealth or archery build if you want, but if the AI is controlling him, he ONLY focuses on charging headfirst into enemies. I only saw him use his bow a handful of times throughout the entire playthrough. I ended up buying a respec token and making him focus on dual handed melee, that turned him into a powerhouse. Bugs: I've seen quite a lot of people complain about bugs in this game, even game-breaking bugs. Evidently the original release had a lot of the same criticism. Personally I didn't encounter anything major. There was one time the game froze up mid-conversation and I had to force quit, but that was the only instance of anything particularly glaring. I did have an odd glitch repeat itself though, once in Bree and once in Rivendell. A bunch of loot somehow just duplicated itself and piled up on the ground. Bit odd, but hey, I was able to rack up over 60,000 gold at the start of the game. Of course, your mileage may vary when it comes to bugs, but the game was fine for me and imo this is one of Aspyr's better remasters. tl;dr if you're a fan of LOTR, you'll like this. If you're tired of action games that demand constant, perfectly timed dodging and parrying, you'll like this. If you want a fun hack-n-slash to play with friends, you'll probably like this (again, I haven't played the multiplayer so I can't speak to it). Here's hoping Aspyr is able to remaster more of the old LOTR games that were delisted.
Fun game, until it started crashing at start today. I saw someone solved by starting a Multiplayer game and then quitting it, but it didn't work for me. Apparently is something wrong with the save file? A fix needs to be pushed immediately. EDIT: I think that the Ettenmoors are triggering this glitch
The Lord of the Rings Online yıllardır bıkmadan sıkılmadan oynamak başta olmak üzere her şeyini severim, alırım, izlerim, okurum..
its a crap port riddled with bugs updated to "work" on modern systems co-op is broken. if you try to join an online game your character starts at level 1 without any gear equipped ai teammates are busted and most of the time will stand around doing nothing enemies get stuck in an area where you cant kill them locking level progression no updates or bug fixes from Aspyr. theyre just a ♥♥♥♥ company and you should avoid doing business with them.
fun game with a great story. with the ability to swap which character you are playing in the middle of the story makes it so you can do some cool combos and work with friends
It is fun and has lots of gore!
I mean come on its lord of the rings
