This game might be cool. But I'll never know because after 30 mins in this game, the controls are awful. Building is insane. Basic things like shift clicking items into inventories is terrible. Going into a inventory system, and then not being able to exit it without opening another one so you can gain control of your cursor again to click (yes, esc doesn't always work) the x button to close. Only buy this game if it's a $1 or less and you're down for wonky controls.
OMG this is one of the worst games I have played so far. Instead of swapping tool you need to change your status in a crazy way. Climbing rocks or even steeper hills? You will slide down. Resources? Silly - from a small bush you will get more sticks than from a tree you just cut down. Just say no. At least at this moment. And the sound when you try to cut a tree? Just imagine Aryna Sabalenka with an axe. I prefer old Conan. You could climb rocks and walls, gathering wasn't as tedious as in case of this game.
there is nearly no aspect of this game that works correctly. the tutorials are even outdated to the actual gameplay. when reloading in all the mission progress gets lost and you cannot rebuild your city. it is however a good concept i think. I am not sure where all the good reviews came from. units will run rampit, progress resets, ui doesnt function properly in most areas. and multiple gamebreaking bugs within a short time. the videos of this are even outdated to the game. its like they did a update or something and just abandoned it mid update.
ATM the game needs a looott of work still, i was going to refund it and come back later but i saw it's one man studio so i ain gonna refund so he can actually work on the game and make it great as it should be. Good luck
The pop-in of objects gets you stutter every minute or two, depending where you travel. The UI feels like a prototype and cheap, it's unresponsive and often doesn't even work. I guess the foundation of the game is interesting but it needs a lot of work. I'm gonna wait a couple of months and see if the game gets better.
Greek myth meets tactical brilliance—love the blend of history and fantasy.
The idea of the game is brilliant and there is a lot left to be desired. The game, once developed could definitely be worth more money and will be great to play. Right now its playable but needs to more of course.
This is the jankiest piece of s i have played in the longest of times but the core concept and bones are everything i've been looking for in a game, i have pushing 1k hours in the various versions of mount and blade across pc and playstation as i simply cant get enough of boots on the ground rts fighting and all that game was missing was a base building aspect. its my most sincere hope that this game isn't just shovelware and im putting my money towards a project that will grow over time. enough gushing though things to be aware of if you buy this game that i wouldnt even call in beta but alpha performance is all over the place frames would go between 190 and 12 and back again like a yoyo every time a new action was started however for the most part would hover around the high 40's for me (4070 for context) quests and specifically construction reset when loging out despite saving only your position, units and all inventory save properly the world is simply a texture pack that someone has gone to town on with a terrain manipulator so its far from pretty to say the least. ai is both stupid and relentless, pathing gets stuck ont things constantly particularly hills and ramps, hostile ai will completley ignore freindly troops and gun for you if you're in range map is basicially useless as as it cant be moved so you can only see aprox 500m around your current position so finding your way back to the city after a long excursion means looking for where the green highlight of freindly units training clipping through the world is waymarkers are broken quest steps have to be completed in perfect order or will game break only one save file so if you sae in a bad spot or after doing something wrong it takes a full game restart to fix i could go on but the point is this game is whack and cannot be considered close to being complete but its my hope it will grow and from such a small deeloper i hope the money i spent will help
