About
The Last Craftsman is a farming simulator, but with some interesting twists thrown in. You're no mere farmer, you're a Craftsman! Harvest lumber to build a chair, or catch fish to... also craft a chair. Crafting is the name of the game, what you choose to craft WITH is up to you!
You are a new graduate of the Craftsman's Guild, an organization devoted to ensuring the mechanical prosperity of every town and city in the country. Craftsmen are tasked with repairing machinery, supplying furniture, and generally maintaining the infrastructure of small towns and large cities alike by fulfilling the requests of its citizens.
You've been assigned to Gear Springs, a quaint little village out in the mountains. Normally, this would be a very exciting moment in your life, but you're unsure of how to feel. Gear Springs seems like a nice place, but rumor has it that something terrible happened in the town and the last Craftsman disappeared.
Oh well, it's too late to change your mind now! The train is already charging towards your new home.

In The Last Craftsman, each item is more than the sum of its parts. It's also its parts! Every item has tags that define what it is, Lumber is Wood and Fuel, Pillows are very Fluffy, a Cactus is Spiky. These component parts are what really matter in Gear Springs. Some materials will only be available at certain times, which means the way you craft items and progress will be constantly changing!

As an official Craftsman, you have access to the amazing Omni-tool! The Omni-tool is great on its own and everything, but you can also install modifications to add unique effects. Some mods do simple things like make harvesting materials faster, while others can give you a chance to acquire unique materials or help you learn new crafting recipes. Some modifications even come with upgraded versions for even stronger effects!

An interesting take on the genre, with a fun tag based mechanic for crafting and many QoL features. Such as interacting with items at range, not having to water plants, filtering what items can go in a chest so you can quickly drop stuff off in your boxes to stay organized.
Adorable game with obviously hand drawn assets. The crafting system is deep and complex and the characters are super fun
Really enjoy the tags for crafting, the dungeon card game is ok (havent spent time creating cards yet). The interaction with the townsfolk is really lacking, but I understand that they are probably trying to pace out the crafting tech levels...it just gets a bit tedious. Theseus is great.
Great game! Glad to see anti shield enemies now cuz shield felt too OP. I am a bit confused about the "Still" machine, Idk if it's me being silly but it isn't taking in wood for fuel. It doesn't let me input wood or plant.
Good game, have enjoyed my time in it so far.
A solid cross between Stardew Valley and My Time at Portia/Sandrock. Has a really neat "tag" system that drives the game and allows multiple paths through the game and multiple solutions to every puzzle. It's a little grindy, and a little buggy, but it's a very solid game for a solo developer.
刚开始玩,觉得挺好玩的,里面的标签系统让人耳目一新,有种植,制造,卡牌战斗元素,感觉游戏内容可以更丰富些,但是最重要的,we need Chinese,使用翻译器有些麻烦,希望能更新中文
A novel twist on the stardew style cozy game, while the crafting is the main focus, all the subsystems are pretty fun and, best of all, your default move speed is pretty damn fast! Story is cute, music is great, graphics are great. Highly reccomend, perfect type of game to hop in, play an in game day, and then hop out feeling satisfied.
this is a great game. seems like a solo project, which is astonishing!! something in particular i like a lot is the "tag system" for materials and stuff -- like instead of requiring 50 pieces of wood, the game requires 50 things that include wood, kind of. (you'll see!) so you can use different materials than you expect, recycle items into new things, and seek out whatever unusual tag or attribute you need. i'm having a lot of fun
I would say that his game deserves more attention from gamer. It is decent with good 'resource grab' loop and several interesting inventions, like 'tags'. I personally play on 'slowest' time setting, otherwise you will be overwhelmed with what you could for the day, but didn't because it already ended. This game scratches my itch or resource gathering, a bit of automation and discovery. It could have more quality of life improvements like for inventory management of for fight, like auto attack/auto turn end. All in in all ,it is a good game and I am having fun.
