Explore a drowned Earth, restore lost systems, and raise the last human seeds in this first-person survival-crafting adventure. Build, scavenge, defend, and launch humanity back to the stars.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.71/day in the week to Sep 1 → 39.14/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The world you knew is gone.
You awaken as the last active Caretaker, a machine built for one purpose: save humanity. Across a vast ocean covering the ruins of Earth, you must recover human seeds, restore the Lazarus Complex, and prepare the next generation for launch into orbit.
The Last Caretaker is a first-person survival-crafting game about systems, choices, and purpose. Every resource matters. Every structure has a reason to exist. Every success gives humanity one more chance.

Recover human seeds and return them to the Lazarus Complex. Manage their growth, restore memory data, and prepare them for life beyond Earth.
Scavenge abandoned facilities, dismantle wreckage, and recycle materials into tools, weapons, power networks, and essential modules. Restore the machinery needed to keep the mission alive.
Rogue machines, hostile systems and the world itself will push back. Repair and maintain, upgrade your equipment, and protect what remains.
Restore ancient launch infrastructure, chart the ocean, gather resources and memories, and send the humans you raised into orbit. The mission is not survival for its own sake. It is a continuation.
Explore silent Sanctuary docks, Refuel Outposts, Underwater cities, and long-forgotten Seed Vaults. The story is uncovered through places, logs, memories, and the remains of a civilization that tried to outlive its own world.

Great game at first! But, as you progress it is the same foes and same grind(only more of it) and becoming tedious and repetitive- which is sad because I loved it in the beginning. Story is good.(update) Just stay with it until your mid-game...it gets better.
AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 32 GB DDR5-6000 ASUS ROG Strix XG32UCDS 31.5” 4K QD-OLED, 165 Hz 3840×2160 (4K Ultra) I really wanted to love this game because the atmosphere, graphics, and overall idea are fantastic. The world is beautiful, and exploring it is genuinely enjoyable. Unfortunately, the technical issues make it very difficult to recommend in its current state. I played on a high-end PC (Ryzen 7 9850X3D, RTX 5080, 32GB DDR5, SSD) in 4K, so my hardware is definitely not the problem. The biggest issue is the number of bugs. I encountered multiple mission bugs where objectives wouldn’t update or progress correctly, forcing me to search for workarounds or reload older saves. Save-related issues are also frustrating, and I experienced situations where progress didn’t behave as expected. Another major problem is stability. The game freezes quite often, and when it happens, it becomes completely unresponsive. The only solution is to force close it through Task Manager and launch it again, which breaks immersion and can waste a lot of time. It’s disappointing because beneath all these problems there is an excellent game with great gameplay, beautiful visuals, and an interesting story. I sincerely hope the developers continue fixing the bugs and improving stability, because this game has a lot of potential. Right now, however, the technical issues prevent it from being as enjoyable as it deserves to be.

game says it needs 16 GB of memory i say screw that and use 8 GB of ram and it works fine
May be may favorite game of all time
gyrocopter and a number of FPS bugs made this unplayable and it was a real shame too. once the boat has anything going on with it frames begin to run the game in slow motion until youre trying to do anything with a second or 2 delay in the controls so this is a nice idea sure but if youre only going to make this something that can be usable to those only able to afford top of the line streamer type rigs then thats a hard pass for me and those that live within our means money wise.
I did get a copy of this game from Keymailer. It's still early access so I was expecting bugs and issues. Surprisingly the only issue i had was a lack tutorial or instructions, which I generally expect at least for the first little bit of a game, and do like having (and the option to turn it off on later playthroughs). What I did play had a cozy feel to it. The key binding for melee attacks was a bit odd and I did struggle with it. I'll be waiting for a few updates and giving the game another go. It's got a lot of potential.
