About

You are a highly qualified, sharp-witted astrobiologist named Yasna. Being entangled in a space race, you and your crew end up on the unexplored planet Regis III. The scientific journey quickly turns into a search mission for lost crewmates. Follow its trail, but be fully aware that every decision you make can bring you closer to danger.

On her journey, Yasna will face decisions that will shape the outcome of the story. Help her make difficult choices and witness one of 11 possible endings to the deeply philosophical story.
Discover fragments of what’s lost and report to your Astrogator. Let his voice aid you during hard times when humanity’s greatest threat emerges. The latter will force you to rethink mankind’s ambitions and biases. Go on - make decisions, follow the mystery… but remember not to underestimate the brutal simplicity and brilliance of evolution.

Robots, people… Choose whether to interact with different creatures on Regis III or how to do it. Friend, companion? Enemy? You never suspected what these words might really mean before you got here.
Immerse yourself in the atompunk atmosphere by using various tools, such as a telemeter or a tracker, and drive a vehicle through a stunning landscape. Experience realistic interactions with analogue technologies in a retro futuristic timeline.

The Invincible is a first-person game based on the motifs of The Invincible - an iconic novel of the world-known, hard science-fiction author and Polish futurologist Stanisław Lem.
There are places like Regis III, not prepared for us and for which we are not prepared. Still, our spacecraft inevitably comes closer to the destination - for our stories and fates to cross in a dead spot.

Maybe I'll pick this game up again soon, but his feels less like an astronaut-based game, and more like a woman-based game. Maybe it's geared more toward women, which is fine, but its incredibly frustrating to take 5 steps, and trail off into a cutscene with uninteresting dialog rather than feeling like the story is progressing. Maybe that's what it's like being a woman? Now I feel like i have a better idea where thier struggles come from. I think I'll listen to the audiobook version of this story first. 4/10 don't recommend being a woman.
Its a glorified walking simulator, but i never got bored with it

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

lovely sci-fi game
The Invincible: Exploring Regis III with the HR Department
If you would like to experience an interplanetary ordeal through the eyes of a contemporary young adult who requires constant emotional processing, reassurance, and the need to verbalize every anxiety, The Invincible may be the game for you. For me, the ordeal wasn’t merely surviving on Regis III; it was surviving the internal dialogue of a first-year HR employee trapped in the form of an astrobiologist. Worse, I found the supporting cast largely dimwitted, with all adult agency removed so they could emotionally baby your character, Yasna, along or bicker with her as a parent might with a teenage daughter. The positive parts of The Invincible were the visuals, the atmosphere, and the story itself. The mid-century Soviet-cosmonaut aesthetic did much of the heavy lifting. There was a great deal of potential here, but unfortunately, it had the soul sucked out of it by what felt like one never-ending therapy session, accompanied by incessant yammering. Quite often, I hoped my character wouldn’t wake back up or would be eviscerated mid-panic attack by one of the planet’s many dangers. I would have no such luck. Supposedly, there are multiple endings, but I was content—ecstatic, even—with the one I endured. Though curious about the others, I refuse to subject myself to another second of Yasna’s insufferable dialogue. While interesting, I’m sad to say I cannot recommend it.
Summary: Gorgeous setting for a slow paced, narrative driven walking simulator. Most players are going to find this game incredibly boring. Full disclosure, I did fall asleep in the final act while playing. There are several moments throughout the game where it feels like there is some kind of danger or suspense, but many of those moments just fizzle out. I found the ending in particular to be very lackluster (there are 11 endings, I have heard the others are similarly abrupt). That said there is a particular type of gamer who will enjoy this game. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and it's not hard to get immersed in the story. If you're very into hard science fiction literature and don't mind a meandering pace, then you'll probably appreciate this game. This game is a prequel to the book "The Invincible" and this game should be treated as an appetizer to the book. If you want an immersive walking simulator experience though, I'd recommend Firewatch over this game for all but the most hard core sci-fi fans.
