About

You are a highly qualified, sharp-witted astrobiologist named Yasna. Being entangled in a space race, you and your crew end up on the unexplored planet Regis III. The scientific journey quickly turns into a search mission for lost crewmates. Follow its trail, but be fully aware that every decision you make can bring you closer to danger.

On her journey, Yasna will face decisions that will shape the outcome of the story. Help her make difficult choices and witness one of 11 possible endings to the deeply philosophical story.
Discover fragments of what’s lost and report to your Astrogator. Let his voice aid you during hard times when humanity’s greatest threat emerges. The latter will force you to rethink mankind’s ambitions and biases. Go on - make decisions, follow the mystery… but remember not to underestimate the brutal simplicity and brilliance of evolution.

Robots, people… Choose whether to interact with different creatures on Regis III or how to do it. Friend, companion? Enemy? You never suspected what these words might really mean before you got here.
Immerse yourself in the atompunk atmosphere by using various tools, such as a telemeter or a tracker, and drive a vehicle through a stunning landscape. Experience realistic interactions with analogue technologies in a retro futuristic timeline.

The Invincible is a first-person game based on the motifs of The Invincible - an iconic novel of the world-known, hard science-fiction author and Polish futurologist Stanisław Lem.
There are places like Regis III, not prepared for us and for which we are not prepared. Still, our spacecraft inevitably comes closer to the destination - for our stories and fates to cross in a dead spot.

Maybe I'll pick this game up again soon, but his feels less like an astronaut-based game, and more like a woman-based game. Maybe it's geared more toward women, which is fine, but its incredibly frustrating to take 5 steps, and trail off into a cutscene with uninteresting dialog rather than feeling like the story is progressing. Maybe that's what it's like being a woman? Now I feel like i have a better idea where thier struggles come from. I think I'll listen to the audiobook version of this story first. 4/10 don't recommend being a woman.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Brilliant! Highly recommend this game, best 8.5 hours of my life! Also, you should really read the book first, because as you wander through this world and discover something that you've read in the book about, had a picture in your head whilst reading, it makes you so excited!
I've never read the book. It's sorely lacking in exposition so this is a game for people who are already fans. If you're not a fan, you'll probably find this tiresome. it looks good until it doesn't. Entering the city and it's a washout, textures look like ♥♥♥♥, there's buggy LOD issues that cause tiling on the landscape. But up to that point we have to deal with some of the worst dialogue in a video game, unnatural, stilted, makes no sense. The QTE for dialogue is also stupid, because even if you don't select anything, that's a choice. You're never given any time to care about any of the characters, there's next to zero exposition, and a lot of the stuff in the game universe, you're just apparently supposed to know - so no, I haven't read the book. See, I gave up at a point where you're supposed to fall through a bridge, but the game wouldn't let me step onto the bridge, so I was soft-locked. But I'd also been through three hours of nonsense. Science driven? At one point your narrator companion is talking about how he's mad people were smoking on the surface because it could ignite a dusty atmosphere, but we're literally using rockets to get on and off the planet, and our probe is hovering using open flamed rocket boosters. The dialogue just forgets stuff it says from one moment to the next, so suspend disbelief, sure, but if you change your mind about something in literally the next sentence, it's kinda hard. The characters also don't respond appropriately to information received - like, there's no flora or fauna on the planet, but we found a fish, and then later on there's plants, and our partial amnesiac player character, she's just profoundly unsurprised by any of this. For something based off a book, this is some poor-ass writing and dialogue. Tie that in to zero gameplay and you have a game that has to be riding the coattails of the book it's based on, because there's ♥♥♥♥ all else here.
I'm gonna go read the novel now,. Good game, though pretty linear (first play through). Kinda laggy at times, but see my specs :)
Already beat the game...
If you enjoyed the book, science speak and you like walking simulators with a few extra options this is for you. None of your replies, choices or path you take make any difference to the outcome, the plot or the storyline, there is literally no skill needed to completing this outside of the occasion direction exploring which eventually leads you back to where you ned to be and no threat of anything actually killing you in the game. Basically if you couldn't work it out from the page description this is literally the spirit of the book brought to life in interactive 3d. Completed in under 6 hours it's not the longest of games and a vast majority of it is linear, however, the environment is beautifully done and detailed and the game conveys and air of forboding well, the story is good but not for those who don't like science speak or long dialogues and little action. That being said, it's worth a playthrough.
It's a great game with an amazing story. It's short, but every choice matters, and there are so many different outcomes that it's worth replaying to discover them all. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys science, space, and biology.
Its a glorified walking simulator, but i never got bored with it
