About

You are a highly qualified, sharp-witted astrobiologist named Yasna. Being entangled in a space race, you and your crew end up on the unexplored planet Regis III. The scientific journey quickly turns into a search mission for lost crewmates. Follow its trail, but be fully aware that every decision you make can bring you closer to danger.
On her journey, Yasna will face decisions that will shape the outcome of the story. Help her make difficult choices and witness one of 11 possible endings to the deeply philosophical story.
Discover fragments of what’s lost and report to your Astrogator. Let his voice aid you during hard times when humanity’s greatest threat emerges. The latter will force you to rethink mankind’s ambitions and biases. Go on - make decisions, follow the mystery… but remember not to underestimate the brutal simplicity and brilliance of evolution.
Robots, people… Choose whether to interact with different creatures on Regis III or how to do it. Friend, companion? Enemy? You never suspected what these words might really mean before you got here.
Immerse yourself in the atompunk atmosphere by using various tools, such as a telemeter or a tracker, and drive a vehicle through a stunning landscape. Experience realistic interactions with analogue technologies in a retro futuristic timeline.
The Invincible is a first-person game based on the motifs of The Invincible - an iconic novel of the world-known, hard science-fiction author and Polish futurologist Stanisław Lem.
There are places like Regis III, not prepared for us and for which we are not prepared. Still, our spacecraft inevitably comes closer to the destination - for our stories and fates to cross in a dead spot.

As someone that has not read The Invincible novel I must say it's a great game and experience. It reminds me alot of Firewatch just with a sci-fi setting. It runs pretty well on my older hardware even so given it's a UE5 game. I ran medium settings with some things turn off, some areas I would get 144 fps probably would have gone higher but I put a cap on. In intense areas it would drop down to 80 fps also I ran it native with upscaling off. There were some textures issues where it look like squares I didn't find a fix before completing it. I saw some people say you have to force it in to dx11 by going into start parameters writing -dx11. Overall the game was a great experience though I find some dialog near the end to be stalling the end and not so well compare to the rest of the game.
Beautiful game and experience, I have been looking for a game with decision making in which the decisions were actually hard and damn this game actually tests your philosophy on some matters just by making you take decisions. Visually astonishing and the audio is AMAZING, the music and the SFx are on point. Absolutely loved this game, this is going to my top 2.
For a story game, it does a good job of allowing the player to choose branching paths. While it ultimately funnels you in the same direction, I was usually left with the impression of "what if I went a different way?" which led to me being more invested in the direction and choices I made. Unfortunately, I experienced some pretty bad gameplay issues. Multiple times, my character model got stuck on something and I had to revert to the last save and retrace my steps. Sometimes certain set pieces would act weird, like when a certain arctan becomes active, I'd watch its foot glitch into the ground. I also noticed a lot of environmental issues like mesh holes, or seams in the terrain. I realize they're going for this large scale setting, but those issues always seemed to detract from the scene. Sometimes forced animations would feel artificial or just straight up not line up, a certain keycard floated through air ahead of my hand that was supposed to be inserting it. All of these prevented any sense of deep immersion which I feel is the only major thing story games have going for them. The story, especially the way it handles branching choices, and voice acting were great, but the rest of the game felt much less polished. I got it for $3 on sale, and at that price it's worth it, but for $30 I probably would have refunded after I got stuck the first time.
Having a blast with this game. It's peak
