No life it with me, trust me it will be okay. Thousands of hours of fun to be had, my 450 hours isn't accurate at all, as it's a cross platform game. Play on tablet, phone, steam deck, pc, hell it might even play on your potato raspberry if you want. Can play on any device besides consoles, regardless of windows, linux, apple and android, sorry sony you Fkin nobs ahahahah. Completely player driven experience that can't be had on any other game, besides the first TIB. Come join us and lose your spouse, house, job, and life in the Infinite Black!!!!

The game is just overwelming with how much you need to learn, then the changes being made are always game changing, even new items make the old items USELESS, Additionally, take pauses for times, come back and just get slaughtered everytime, just is not worth coming back and getting slaughtered without putting 100+ hrs to get "good" again.

Many $ players get to cheat bot and do not get any type of punishment for cheating. This encourages more people to cheat to stay competitive.

I had play tib 1 for more than 10 years now tib2 awesome game, will an other decated playing for sure. thx ozzimandias.

Bad

Fairly simple yet deep PVP space game with simple graphics. There are multiple areas where it is PVE only if that's your jam, but the PVP is where the game is really fun IMO

High addicting game!

Been playing since the first The Infinite Black, this sequel is a massive upgrade. Progression is very satisfying, and if you love a good grind, this game is for you.

After spending some quality time with The Infinite Black 2, I'm giving it a thumbs up. It’s a solid mix of fleet-based space combat, PvP skirmishes, and resource farming, all tied together with a sleek cross-platform experience that runs well on PC, mobile, and even Steam Deck. The community is active and welcoming, and the devs are clearly engaged — rolling out regular updates, events, and balance tweaks based on feedback. The monetization is refreshingly fair too: no ads, no shady pay-to-win mechanics, just a straightforward free-to-play model with optional cosmetics and boosts for those who want them. That said, it’s not without rough edges. The early-game tutorial experience is a bit barebones, especially around crafting and fleet coordination. It took a lot of trial and error (and Discord peeking) to figure out what to build and how. Progression can also feel grindy, particularly if you’re going solo. And while the visuals are a step up from the original’s 2D look, the 3D presentation sometimes adds visual clutter without much payoff. Also worth noting — starting your own corporation is a hefty investment, so newcomers are better off joining existing corps before going solo. A few improvements would go a long way: interactive tutorials, clearer UI overlays, a match queue system for Arenas, and more forgiving corp creation would help new players stick around. Still, despite these gripes, the core gameplay loop is fun and rewarding once you’re in the groove. If you’re into space MMOs and don’t mind a bit of a grind, The Infinite Black 2 is well worth jumping into.
