Nice Game - enjoy it a lot!
Well here's a first, don't bring IRL friends to join you in a party or admins will literally ban you!

Well, I've had the game for a few weeks and already have 7.3 days of in-game time, according to my player stats. I've spent hours looking over stats to come up with builds that sound fun, and the community is SUPER willing to help out with both advice and up to mid-game gearing. I'm currently level 51, and true end-game doesn't even start until level 150, so I've got an insane number of hours of gameplay ahead of me. It's simple enough to do other things while you play, but engaging enough that you can't afk to do anything or get bored of the gameplay loop. TL;DR, if you're a fan of grindy and/or sci-fi games, definitely give it a shot.
If you want a game that feels like every minute spent = valuable progress, look no further. Don't even look at it if you don't want to grind because that's 99% of it. You'll be obliterated in regular PVP early on but there are plenty of ways to spend your time in game without ever encountering it. There's also a FFA mode where all players have the same ship and gear, allowing players of any level to compete for PVP currency. Devs are always tweaking things and adding new features with big plans for the future. Yes, the community has toxic players. However, they are well-moderated and honestly they provide an interesting ambiance to the dynamics in chat. Mute works, if you don't enjoy watching the trolls feed. The majority of players are on discord, ready to help you grow and answer any questions you have about the game. You will have a lot of those. The learning curve is VERY steep. The milestones feel like genuine achievements and always increase your capacity to grow quicker. The primary problem the game is facing is that we need more players. The competitive nature of alliances has become very quiet as of late because we simply don't have enough people to stir the pot. The population isn't gone by any means, but open world PVP is pretty uncommon these days. This is partly because it's been neglected by the dev team and the core players are bored of repeated content. This is going to be addressed in future updates, though. Overall, this is a fantastic game with tons of promise to become much better, provided you can make it through the early learning curve. I've probably spent 10,000+ hours in game between this and the original. Edit: Reading the negative reviews, the vast majority of those players have no idea what they're talking about and are giving completely false info about how the game works. Don't let their misperceptions detour you from trying it out. And yes, the steam version costs $7 while the game can be played completely free via direct download or on mobile. There are reasons for this. If you're upset over losing $7 on a game with easily 1000x the content of similar AAA titles, you need to go get a job and stop reviewing games.
By far the best open-world MMO, player trading is available, player combat, and pve. But no trucking/station trading sadly. Still, an interesting indie genre that's worth your time. If you want to see how the game is like without paying first, download it on mobile for free. However, I really recommend the desktop release.
Cool music for blasting starships and gathering loot.
Great community. Great grinding game.
Super fun game, good stuff.
