Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Note: Roomscale setup strongly recommended. So this game is listed as being in Early Access and yeah, this game still needs lots of polish. However, it does have a nice structure or bones for a really good game. It's just not a good game yet. It still needs some cooking and maybe some rethinking on some of the mini-games. First things first, there's only 9 mini-games. I have no idea why they are saying there's 10. Is there a hidden 10th game somewhere? I played the gameshow twice and practiced every mini-game. There's only 9 listed in practice and I never saw any different game than those practiced on the actual gameshow mode. The 9 mini-games are: 1) Bullfight - guide bulls to stars and away from you and bombs 2) Climbing - very buggy, there are these levers that are supposed to take you up, but one just hangs there midway) 3) Supermarket - throw grocery items around to appropriate area or customer's basket 4) Walk through traffic - guide a teddy bear through traffic and into a bus 5) Ice cream - my personal favorite ... catch icecream scoops while balancing them as high as possible 6) Hole in the Wall - strike the correct pose or get hit by the wall ... seemed like some poses were impossibly high 7) Audioshield/ Soundboxing - a very cheap version of it 8) Food Truck - cheap version of Counter Fight 9) Archery - hits various archery targets as time winds down ... could have been a lot better / sillier The mini-game that I liked the most was the ice cream one. I've seen other versions of balancing challenges in VR, I think there's a pancake one in Carnival Games VR, but this one is more fun and just sillier. I also liked the Hole in the Wall, but it seems that it wanted me to put my head a lot higher than I could. I don't know if you're suppposed to jump, that seems impossible if you want to place your hands where you're supposed to. I might have enjoyed the climbing challenge if it wasn't so glitchy. The Food Truck one needs more depth to be enjoyable (see Counter Fight), same thing with the supermarket challenge. Maybe on top of putting items where they belong you need to catch and bag some items for customers... just a thought. The bullfighting could be fun, it just needs to be faster. Make that bull running at you scary. Same thing with walk through traffic. It's just too slow and you end up being bored versus challenged. Not everyone feels nausea with fast moving objects in VR. I do like how the game is setup for local parties. I liked the presentation. But even with those things I encountered some bugs. When I quit the game, it actually doesn't quit. It just hangs there in the dark after the announcer says goodbye player one. Also, when you finish the gameshow mode, it announces you as the winner and the game just hangs there on the stage. It doesn't prompt you for another round or if you want to quit. I think the game is priced correctly given the content. I think it may be a steal at $6 assuming it is updated and polished, especially if certain gameplay elements are improved. For right now, it's just an okay VR party game for the price. Rate 6/10. Very tepid recommendation if you like VR party games.
It's incredible and it's vr, it's also a game show, basically, it's a bunch of VR mini-games like a ton of various games, archery, shooting, bull-fighting, cooking, serious like a ton of things https://youtu.be/PoT10eMvmRY
I tried the game on my windows hp mixed reality headset As with other vr games that don't support wmr i had vive controllers I would like to see wmr support come before the game leaves early access For $6 it's a good deal but i would find it hard to recommend if the price goes above that due to lack of content I encounted a few bugs, glitches and stutteres but nothing game breaking I would be nice to have a little tuorial at the start of each mini-game explaining what your meant to do as some can be quite confusing.
My friend and I had a BLAST! Few Issues we had with it It was difficult to get multiple players in, we didn't know the first time that you had to make all the characters first before you could select the amount of players you wanted. We created a game for the two of us and it just doubled our character. We noticed that the first player played the 3 rounds then you switch the headset but the next player got 5 different games. When the game ends there is no way to go back to replay the game it just flashes who won (which was always player 2) so we always had to exit the game then go back in We tried the practice rounds but it booted you out from the selection after a few of them and went back to who won the game previously so it had to be reset again. Archery: Very difficult to grab arrows.Maybe we just didn't grab it from the right place but it wasn't as intuitive as with most other archery games. Still a really fun game though! Can't wait to see how it improves
A great mini game that you can play with your friends if you had any.... Lots of different games to play, which range from hard to easy. Lots to do and it's a joy to play in the VR world. https://youtu.be/HOkMfAqz6r4
I wasn't really sure how to rate this game, because it's still in early access, clearly not complete and has bugs that stop the game being enjoyable. That being said, it's a nice idea and once this is finished and polished up I think it will be a great little hotseat, multiplayer party game. So, I've said I don't recommend this game for now (and certainly don't get it if you expect a completed game), but really this is a neutral review. Here are the bugs I noticed, the first being the most problematic: 1) The last player (tried in 2 player and 3 player) always plays two extra games, that they clearly aren't supposed to play. Then when the final scores come up the last player gets points and the other players get 0. 2) In the bull fight and the shopping game the bonus scores don't seem to be working properly (always display as 0) 3) There's sometimes a graphical glitch with the arrows in the archery game As for the games themselves, there's a nice selection, some of which seem quite original. The ice cream game and the hole in the wall game were my favourites. Though with hole in the wall, some poses were too high. I think the devs need to add height calibration for each individual player for this to work. Least favourite games are probably the bull fight, which is just a bit boring (plus the bull sometimes inexplicably goes for you right at the end), and the game where you punch the blocks. Some of the combinations are impossible to get and because it isn't in time to music (as Soundboxing/Audioshield are) it isn't all that enjoyable. Anyway, these are my first thoughts and I'll update as the game is updated.
This cost me under 7 CND. Still, the glitches make the mini-games a grind, more about frustration fighting with the controls that fun playing a game (though they are kinda cute). I hope to see it improve, and will keep checking and update this review.
Eigentlich nur eine Sammlung aus kleinen Mini-Spielchen in VR, die zudem teilweise glitchen und einfach nur langweilig sind. Für den Preis von derzeit 10$ viel zu viel. Da gibt es besseres für VR!
