About
On Sunday the 7th of March, 1936, a group of locals made their way up the long, muddy track to Galley House. As far as any of them knew, the house had stood empty for decades.
Inside, they discovered the bloody aftermath of something horrific.
The authorities were summoned, and the crime scene was eventually cleared away. But nobody ever figured out what happened that dreadful night. It seemed likely that no one ever would.
Now, many years later, you have access to a peculiar machine — one that lets you listen in on echoes of the past. Can you piece together the events behind The Incident at Galley House?

Genuinely one of the best mystery games I have ever played. To say more would be spoilers. Just Play This Game.
If you enjoy the detective/mystery genre I think this is a pretty easy recommend to check out. I thoroughly enjoyed it. For context I went in blind, not knowing anything about the older game this is based on.
Really enjoyed this game. Has an interesting story that gets a little bit twisty, great horror-adjacent vibes, fill in the blanks detective work right out of Obra Dinn, and the character location tracking The Seance of Blake Manor in service of sussing it all out. The length also felt about right, without excessive unnecessary padding and a pretty straight forward route to full completion. I'd recommend this to fans of games like The Case of the Golden Idol, or Seance of Blake Manor in a heartbeat.
So fun, I'm so mad that it's over. The perfect level of trickiness where it's so satisfying every time you figure something out.
Another great puzzler by the folks behind The Roottrees are Dead. This one is a reimagination of a text adventure made by William Rous, with full voice acting & beautiful art now included. Make it more challenging to yourself by going to settings and toggling off showing the "connections". You'll be fine without them. I played it through in one marathon 9½ hour sitting -- some of the best gaming hours I've had in 2026.
Absolutely worth picking up, once I started to figure things out I couldn't put it down until it was finished!
Very well made game. I thought the game mechanics were fun, though they did get a bit monotonous by the end. They story was great. I enjoyed some of the plot twists. The game is a bit short. I got 100% after 15 hours, but it was a lot fun, and an interesting idea.
Very Fun! I love a whodunnit and this one was spectacular. I loved trying to untangle the story. If you want something super challenging then this might not be the game for you, otherwise I really recommend picking it up.
A great game even for those that played the original Type Help (though they will likely solve 80% of it pretty quickly).
Bravo! It's a really fun puzzle game. It's kind of a shame that saying really anything about the story might be spoilers, so I won't, but it's all very well done and interesting. If you enjoy puzzle games with mystery and intrigue, this is an absolute recommend. Just go in with that and don't look anything else up before playing.
