I found this demo - and to be sure, this is a demonstration product in the truest sense of the word - INCREDIBLY ENJOYABLE. Especially the ending choices, which provoked far more thoughtful consideration in me than i anticipated anything in something like this would. I appreciate the efforts that went into a demo like this, even if they were not looking to knock anyone's socks off from a world building, complex mechanics standpoint. If you are installing this thinking you are going to be getting more than a few minutes of servicable demonstration of the capabilities of the Adventure Forge toolkit/platform, you are going to be disappointed. That said - if you have even passing interest in game design or development- what a little gem!! If Adventure Forge works as described, and this was made by a smaller team in less time than would otherwise have been required- LOTS of potential. There is definitely MUCH more going on beneath the surface than may immediately be apparent to someone checking this out casually - for example- one very early choice you make (1st one i made) will change a decent amount of your experience. Think about what each interaction you have with the game/events and what that implies for hopefully easy development of features, you'll be suprised.

game only took 45 mins to beat... and the story felt very rushed in my opinion
For a point and click game, this was pretty darn good. The story line had depth, and there were a couple of little twists I wasn't expecting. Well done. :)
Completed my first run-through in under 45 minutes. Controls were relatively easy to pick up, but a tutorial or guide explaining the different visual cues about determining which portions of the in-game environment are interact-able might've been nice... again, I figured it out regardless. Not sure how this would work out for blind or low vision gamers, though; all narrative / informational aspects are presented in written or caption form, though. Anyway, I might play through at least once more to see what making different choices at the start and end would yield. There's 3 options at the start and another 3 at the end. I grew up with both choose your own adventure and sci fi books in abundance. I would consider myself the target audience. Yes, recommend, especially at the current price of zero money. (I paid nothing for this game, because that was the default price in the Steam Store; I'm wondering if it's a new studio just trying to get their name out there & build a fanbase? I have not been solicited nor compensated for this review.)
Though this is for demo purposes to show off the toolkit/platform Adventure Forge, this was a wonderful experience. I was not expecting to get sucked into the simple, yet heart-wrenching story at the end. The little puzzles were easy and user friendly, without any explanation or tutorial needed, I was appreciative of the overall style and the mild exploration.
I felt hopeless and hopeful at the same time with the different ending choices
and I was appreciative of that quick, but great story telling!
The Icarus Experiment was a ok game some part of it was a bit hard to do at time it was just not for me sadly
