About
Takumi Sumino is a totally average teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, a place where every day is much like the last and nothing bad ever happens. All that changes when freakish monsters attack the town and start wreaking havoc. A strange creature calling himself Sirei appears and offers Takumi the power to protect those he holds dear... All he has to do is stab himself in the chest!
The next thing he knows, Takumi is in Last Defense Academy, a school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a wall of otherworldly flames. He and 14 other students have been drafted into the Special Defense Unit, a team tasked with keeping the school safe for the next 100 days. How much are they willing to sacrifice to take back their normal lives and save the world from the grotesque school invaders?
The curtain rises on 100 days of war and despair...
Takumi's choices will decide his future, but there's no telling what kind of consequences these decisions might have...
When the invaders attack, it's up to you to protect the school in SRPG battles.
Use each student's unique Specialist Skills to turn the tide of battle in your favor!
Spend time with your teammates to deepen your bonds, or explore the wilderness and ruins outside the school.
You can even use the items you find to craft gifts and get even closer to your allies!

Did all 100 endings, this was truly our Last Defense Academy. I can fix Eva, mi vieja
I ♥♥♥♥ w/this one heavy.
i think im starting to see the line... the hundred line
I haven't watched all of the game's endings yet (and frankly, I don't know if I will, at least in the foreseeable future), but... What do you mean Kodaka can write??? What?? Huh??? He had this in him all along and I dismissed him???? What???
I didn't expect to invest almost 200h on it lmao Honestly, it did not disappoint and was very enjoyable despite everything (lenght) About my favorite endings: Nothing beats 2nd scenario tbh but I did love some other routes! SF it's tragic in a meta way
I like this route's ending adding an inevitable sense of doom by the credits rolling before they get to the satellite.
I also became very fond of some characters.. Great game
what a mess, so much pointless repetition with so little payoff.
Game too short got the ending in like 20 seconds going to request a refund
Can't say it's the masterpiece other people claim it is, but it's a very solid visual novel. It handles the worldbuilding pretty well, feeding you information gradually instead of relying on excessive amounts of infodump. You're basically constantly piecing things together (some of them more predictable than others). Combat is really fun, with a tactics system mixed with light tower defense elements. It often feels like solving a puzzle, trying to optimize your turns to clear as many enemies as possible in the fewest moves. Some characters have a clearly stronger kit and you will definitely notice the imbalance as the game goes on though. The cast is pretty charismatic and varied although it suffers from a bit of sexist writing in my opinion. The male characters tend to get more meaningful roles or development across different routes while some of the female characters are pushed into more supportive roles or they just become important as a potential love interest and nothing else. I like the writing overall and I can see why some might not enjoy the routes written by other authors since the sudden change of tone can catch you by surprise more than once. Weirdly enough I think this is part of this game's charm. I think the game is pretty creative and fun. You can tell the devs were having a great time when making it and they were confident in what they wanted it to be.
i want hiruko to use me as her personal foot stool and treat me like absolute crap and beat me and i will love it cuz i love hiruko
