About
Takumi Sumino is a totally average teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, a place where every day is much like the last and nothing bad ever happens. All that changes when freakish monsters attack the town and start wreaking havoc. A strange creature calling himself Sirei appears and offers Takumi the power to protect those he holds dear... All he has to do is stab himself in the chest!
The next thing he knows, Takumi is in Last Defense Academy, a school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a wall of otherworldly flames. He and 14 other students have been drafted into the Special Defense Unit, a team tasked with keeping the school safe for the next 100 days. How much are they willing to sacrifice to take back their normal lives and save the world from the grotesque school invaders?
The curtain rises on 100 days of war and despair...
Takumi's choices will decide his future, but there's no telling what kind of consequences these decisions might have...
When the invaders attack, it's up to you to protect the school in SRPG battles.
Use each student's unique Specialist Skills to turn the tide of battle in your favor!
Spend time with your teammates to deepen your bonds, or explore the wilderness and ruins outside the school.
You can even use the items you find to craft gifts and get even closer to your allies!

No mouse controls for combat probably because the pc version is a rushed console port thankfully you don't do combat that often bc this is mostly a vn with a handful of combat segments that come once every few hours. that's not a dig, just something to be aware of the vn does not respect your time at all. routes drag for entirely too long, the writing for many scenes is unforgivably bad. choices after the prologue often have little to do with what happens afterward unless you are already on a proper named "route" routes i finished (spoilers ahead, maybe) main route/"prologue": obscenely long. MC will have a problem and refuse to do anything about it for days at a time because the writers had to fill all 100 days. There are at least 3 times where a character does or threatens something unforgivably bad that no other person wants to go along with but they face no consequences bc everyone has to be best pals and fight together by the end. the twist(s) at the very end are decently interesting. all routes: Takumi fails to take knowledge between routes bc they're set up to do in any order, which is really annoying at times. characters are often not consistent because of varying writers coming of age route: literally what was the point? also way too long. the bomb scene was really funny though cult route: written and toned explicitly as fanservice but the things that actually happen are often horrific, making it feel really gross on the part of the writers. insane tonal whiplash v'exhness route: actually kind of interesting until you realize V is a one note villain and there's not much new to learn about her. The "twist" is obvious and might as well not be one. murder route: actually interesting with DR-style murders and mini-investigations/"trials", but the proper ending is locked behind bumbling around for the one specific route that opens it killing game route: decent except for the fact that everyone continues to hate Takumi to the point of letting him die because they clearly took stupid pills. didn't finish
