Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Aug 2 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Takumi Sumino is a totally average teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, a place where every day is much like the last and nothing bad ever happens. All that changes when freakish monsters attack the town and start wreaking havoc. A strange creature calling himself Sirei appears and offers Takumi the power to protect those he holds dear... All he has to do is stab himself in the chest!
The next thing he knows, Takumi is in Last Defense Academy, a school in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a wall of otherworldly flames. He and 14 other students have been drafted into the Special Defense Unit, a team tasked with keeping the school safe for the next 100 days. How much are they willing to sacrifice to take back their normal lives and save the world from the grotesque school invaders?
The curtain rises on 100 days of war and despair...
Takumi's choices will decide his future, but there's no telling what kind of consequences these decisions might have...
When the invaders attack, it's up to you to protect the school in SRPG battles.
Use each student's unique Specialist Skills to turn the tide of battle in your favor!
Spend time with your teammates to deepen your bonds, or explore the wilderness and ruins outside the school.
You can even use the items you find to craft gifts and get even closer to your allies!

Honestly. This game is long. Just be ready to spend 30 hours on the tutorial. Good luck to those who play this monster.
I legit bought this day 1 to support Kodaka and just got around to playing it last week. Dumped almost 80 hours into it, multiple routes including the "golden" one. I hate to do this but I gotta say I've been squicked out for the first time in a VN. The game treats a particular spoiler character in a way that is just... very gross and weird. I can't really say much more without spoiling it but even the "golden ending" does some really disconcerting things with this character and it genuinely ruined the whole game for me. I think it's a symptom of the game running out of budget, 100 endings being a selling point, and multiple writers working on it. Stuff that gets set up in other routes don't get paid off, characters act OOC and allow some really atrocious things to happen in a way that makes them seem flat out sociopathic. I ended the supposed "happiest ending" not liking any of the characters. Gameplay wise too, I pretty much "solved" the battles about halfway through a second playthrough. I even effortlessly beat supposedly hopeless boss fights, which sadly don't lead into other routes - you get railroaded in a lot of annoying places. I was genuinely glad to skip all the battles in other routes. I liked every other Kodaka game I've played. I even saw and appreciated what Danganronpa V3 was going for. But this one gets a no from me, dawg.

sono sempre stato io il vero the hundred line
needs more male fanservice. i can NOT sufficiently express my disappointment in one of the routes where they'd have a pool party, and there's a CG that, for some reason, ONLY depicts the women. because god ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forbid you wanna look at some of the highly attractive guys (coughtakumicough) clad in revealing clothing. i know there's THAT CG, but it's not enough! i want more near-naked men! please, kodaka!
massive waste of time with no real payoff
I must say, after 100 hours of this VN, I didn't really get attached to most characters, i liked gaku but that's kind of it, some others had a ton of potential (like gaku if he wasn't the punching bag of every writer) but most of the routes waste the potential, there's some routes that do justice but to like, only 2 or 3 characters at most, there's 100 endings and only having a specific route that actually explores them being only like 3 characters is crazy.
Not worth completing. First route was good and well written. That's like 20-40 hours in. Other stuff is kinda awful. For a game that has 100 different endings, only 10 are worth experiencing.
This is probably some of the worst character writing I've ever read in my entire life. Repetitive dialogue with tired, uninteresting, uninspired one-dimensional traits that have no foundation in human psychology to the point that I'm wondering if the entire cast is a bunch of aliens roleplaying what it must feel like to be human and failing. Like, these teenagers are actually on the verge of killing one another over curry. I'm sorry, but how on Earth am I supposed to take this story seriously?
It's complicated.
I'm now addicted to this game and I've only had it for three days, I woke up today and immediately went "I have to play Hundred Line!". What has my life become?
