Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 8 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2: Remake is a remake of the second entry in the well-known and popular rail-shooter series. Take on the lone role of a secret agent as James or Gary, or team up in co-op mode to neutralize the dangerous undead monsters standing in your way.
In February 2000, a small city was suddenly overrun by hostile creatures. Two AMS agents, James Taylor and Gary Stewart, were sent to investigate. Upon arrival, they noticed that the situation resembled the Curien Mansion incident from 1998. Determined to uncover the source of the infestation, they began shooting their way through hordes of creatures.

First remake was kinda okay? Second one feels meh... I know arcade games are meant to be really short but the price for $24.99 is not worth it. I bought this when it was on sale for $11.72 then saw another review saying they got the game for under $3 so I decided to refund and wait for a much better price. Nice try trying to scam me fool! Funny thing is you can get The Typing of The Dead: Overkill for almost at a similar price (or even less when it’s on sale) and have a longer and much better experience!

Pretty much the same review of the one I did back in 2023 for the first one. It's not bad if you fancy killing 45 minutes or so, but if you want it pick it up when it's on sale rather than pay full price.
不如原版
An amazing recreate of the game, it does tend to lag in certain parts but nevertheless it's awesome to playthrough & it is as difficult as I remember it to be. The voice actors were ok just didn't feel the energy as it used to have when playing the original. Either way this is a great game I totally recommend to any fan of HOTD.
Rating
7/10
Intro
Unfortunately, much like Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear, it's fundamentally the same as the previous game with no notable additions to the gameplay. But it's also not a worse off experience on the whole either.
Positives
+ Simple to pick up. + Good soundtrack. + Good replay value. + Great enemy variety. + Campaign cooperative. + Weapons have good impact. + Good aesthetics and graphics.
Negatives
- Light on content. - You have to save civilians to unlock additional weaponry. As opposed to unlocking them with an XP system.
