The Hike is a first person horror/survival game in which you must survive the horrors that start while investigating a mysterious emergency message in a simple hike through the Red River National Park. Your chance of making it back to society relies entirely on your legs, you're no fighter.

For just 3$ i think this game is worth it. Even though it isnt the best horror game out there, it still has some thrilling moments and at times i got scared pretty bad. And after the new patch batteries now glow in the dark, so even if you run out you're not hopeless.
I enjoyed playing this creepy game...but once I ran out of batteries for my flashlight that was it GAME OVER! I sadly couldn't go any further which was very frustrating as I like to finish a game I'm playing.
The Hike is an indie horror title about a man who for some reason decides to take a Hike into mountains where he knows insane asylum inmates are running rampant. Ridiculous premise aside The Hike is a pretty decent indie horror title. Most of the game takes place in a pretty generic looking indie horror asylum setting but it manages to create a surprisingly tense atmosphere in the vein of challenging and long drawn out chase sequences that really are genuinely terrifying. The game has good signposting too, which lots of subtle lighting and less subtle bloody hand-prints showing you where to go. It's quite an intense experience to be running from a deranged maniac who will kill you in a single hit as you scramble through vents looking for signposting with him right behind you. Adrenaline pumping fun. Visually and sound wise the game is nothing special, story wise things are mostly just average however it's the gameplay that shines here and for that alone I recommend this title. Give the Hike a play, an excellent little experience.
hola Sto gioco è na merdina, però, per averlo fatto un ragazzo di 15 anni ci sta...non buttate via 3€ P.S. un mio amico ha letteralmente avuto la nausea per via del'effetto mosso del GIUCO.
One of the best horror games I have ever played. wow
PAra lo poco que cuesta, está bastante bien, quizá mejoraría alguna cinemática. Pero el juego en sí cumple lo que promete
im not sure where i put this so im going to put it here had great fun, but the game bugged out the walls got removed and would appear, this was a huge bug i will be posting my video on it some time this week so if you want to see what bug i mean you will be able to, it happened just before i went out side and got the achievement fresh air, i could not pass the hole in the wall so i left the room and it was like i was playing some kind of backrooms game please if you fix this tell me you can comment on a video or something it was quite fun Yt - https://youtube.com/channel/UCmzOo5ux2S-3EnBNmoPjCew
A pretty solid effort from this first-time developer on Steam. Most of the early bugs seemed to have been ironed out so I can only speak on its current condition, and for my playthrough it ran smoothly and everything looked good. It's an "escape the facility" type game, seems slightly inspired by games like Outlast and others of the same ilk. The game doesn't exactly break any barriers in the genre, but it's engaging and I found the "maze/labyrinth" element to be well done. Had to check out rooms or areas more than once a few times, but nothing was too difficult and never got stuck for too long. There's also a pretty great climactic chase scene that just never seems to end, no matter how many rooms you plow through or what vents you go through. The Hike is available for a very reasonable price of $3.99, and even if you just hurry through it, there's probably an hour of available gameplay which is a fine rate. I recommend giving it a try!
Annoying gameplay after a while, with motion blur and bad performance.
