The Grim Nightmare of Nibras

recieved this game from a random steam code sale for 5 dollars, however i wouldn't even pay that for this "game". Don't get wrong, it's not terrible, but it is in no way good, let alone $30 good. It feels like it is someone's school assessment submitted for quick money, and there is no explanation on how the game plays, being quite misleading. The gameplay loop is very simple and very boring. click on flickering shapes on a background, and then proceed to the next level. There's a very small amount of different events of people showing up but it's unimportant and doesn't add any enjoyment. If this game was free i wouldn't bat and eye or bother making this harsh of a review, but damn unless you're looking to spend your enormous wealth, this isn't worth it.

WOW! This is the most fun I've ever had playing a game, the story was so immersive and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, I did not want this game to end. Absolutely worth the $20 dollars I spent for this game and frankly I would have bought this game for Triple A pricing. My only complaint is the flashing lights in the game that induced multiple epileptic seizures, also the game is not fully developed but neither is my brain, and that's okay. I recommend anyone with 20 dollars in their pocket and 3 minutes of free time to fully experience this wonderful, exciting, awe-inspiring, beautiful video game.

The Grim Nightmare of Nibras is yet another asset flip/construction kit template copy+paste from serial Russian shovelware asset flippers, Dnovel/FreeAnimals_Software. These guys do nothing but copy asset store assets and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, and dump them on Steam and into DailyIndieGame bundles as cash grabs. Today's "effort" from these guys is The Grim Nightmare of Nibras, and it's a garbage HTML5 type point and click browser adventure game slapped together with the godawful Cocos2D game development engine. As a game, it's terrible, of course. It's bug ridden and crashes on launch, typically. If you do get into the game, it's really a joke, it's so bad, being just a reflex/hotspot HTML clicker "adventure" game. For that reason, this is below acceptable standards, and has no real merit or value as a genuine, sincerely made PC game. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the Cocos Creator/Cocos2D game engine/toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur developers as it's free (so they don't have to pay for GameMaker Studio) and doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities (it's arguably worse than GameMaker Studio). Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. Using game construction kits doesn't need any talent or professional game development effort, and results in shallow, low quality shovelware like The Grim Nightmare of Nibras. The status of this thing as nothing but an asset/template flip/cash grab is cemented by the "developers" prior history of asset flip/construction kit copy+paste jobs, the fake/compromised Steam accounts they used to write fake reviews (all with the same broken English), the laughable $20 USD price tag for this garbage, and they way they dumped it into DailyIndieGame bundles immediately at launch. There's no serious value, substance or merit here worthy of consideration from PC gamers. I can't recommend it to anyone. Unethically, the developer sold keys to this Early Access game into cheap, nasty game bundles, where they knew it would be advertised and sold as a complete game. This seems to have been done in an attempt to mislead gamers into buying a knowingly faulty, defective and incomplete product. When a developer does this for a game they have zero practical intention of completing, this is essentially a scam, an intention to get paid for a broken/unfinished product. Often this is done as an exit strategy, as the developer takes the money and runs. Given the known history of Dnovel as review manipulators and their laundry list of other unethical activities, gamers must be warned about wasting any money on this non-game. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this review manipulation.

This game is very simple, only that you need is just click different figure shapes to move to the next lvl. The price for this type of game is too high. 3/10

Игра мрачноватенькая и подойдет не всем, на любителей Изначально просто хотел поддержать отечественный геймдев, но в итоге вполне неплохо, хоть игра и сырая p.s но не могу рекомендовать, потому что здесь всего пару уровней (если это можно назвать уровнями), игра EA

Незамысловатая игра кликер по объектам в мрачном стиле и с мрачной музыкой. Для карточек и позатупливать подходит идеально. Было бы не плохо расширить какой либо историей.

Типа что-то такое мрачненькое, местами неуклюжое но такое атмосферное... - Прям в истинных негласных правилах ИНДИ Разумеется, никаких 10\10 - Но я не мог удержаться от скидки 40% Как минимум - для коллекции, как максимум -таймкиллер для души :)
