Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 13 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Has your dog ever stared into the darkness, barking at something you couldn't see? Maybe they've growled at a quiet hallway in the dead of night or watched an empty corner of your ceiling, tracking something invisible with eerie focus.
As the family dog, it's your job to protect your loved ones from danger—especially from the kind they can't see. In The Good Dog: Chasing Shadows, step into the paws of a loyal dog defending its owners from paranormal entities.

In the Fetch game mode, you're tasked with venturing out into a desolate world to retrieve supplies your family needs to survive. Explore abandoned towns and decaying buildings while avoiding the terrifying entities that haunt the places you once called home. As the days pass, your job will become harder. Resources will spawn less often and farther apart, and your daily resource target will become more demanding, all while the dangers outside grow stronger.
Explore three large maps at launch, each with a unique selection of landmarks and weather conditions.

Use your keen sense of smell to search the area for tools. Dig up hidden items to help fight back against the paranormal. Bark at certain immaterial entities to disperse them, or at physical entities to draw their attention away from your family.
And if all else fails, use your teeth.
In the world of the Entities, however, even dogs need a helping hand. Utilize technology repurposed by your human companions to get the job done: flashlights to see better in the dark, a portable speaker to distract enemies, and even a robot dog companion to help you carry supplies.

With over twenty breeds to choose from, you can tailor your gameplay to your preferred style. Will you play as a small breed, perfect for slipping into tight spaces and evading danger, or a larger breed with more health and attack power to take on threats head-on? Will you prioritize a breed with high stamina, tracking capabilities, stealth, or something else entirely? Whatever your approach, there will be a breed that suits your playstyle.

I LOVE IT pleaseeee add borzois and perhaps papillons .....
I'm only a few hours in and still get my butt kicked a bit. However if you are into the extraction genre of games this is a fun twist on it, especially if you love dogs as much as I do.
There is something super satisfying about running through the snowy woods as a golden retriever. My friends and I really enjoyed this game, even with all the bugs. The game play so far is a lot of fun, and has so much more potential, I am looking forward to seeing where they go with the story and the game development.

Good game. However I think there needs to be work done on it. I will give it a thumbs as it is in early access. THE GAME IS GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION DESPITE MY CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. First off, The graphics and atmosphere are well done, but the enemies are inconsistent, and I've ended up with a few runs where I came across no entities, whereas other times I'm just swarmed by different types. I didnt feel as much fear as I would like in a horror game, and the objectives are very straightforward, leaving with very little to do. I would recommend adding a mini-game to the fuse boxes, perhaps even entities defending different areas. Perhaps even entity killing requirements. The game doesnt offer much for the amount of grind, and the difficulty isn't solidly consistent, as mentioned before. However I recommend this game because I'm seeing potential in this game as a co-op survival. It plays very similar to nuclear nightmare without the imposter mode, with a smaller map and less to do.
I love playing the game it is really good. I would recommended to people if they like dogs and spooky things. I would suggest maybe adding a way to have abilities for the dogs and being able to upgrade them as well as being able upgrade the carry limit on the robot. Only downside I had was doing a diofferent map I couldn't even exit the area and it was on the marsh map.
Bark bark, woof woof, dog good. Can't wait for the customization to be as in-depth as the Sims ♥
This game has potential, so I'm giving it a thumbs up. Currently the game is in a buggy state but its to be expected from being released not long ago, the sniffing trails can be wonky at times. Threat audio from an anomaly tends to be permanently playing once you defeat one. Banshee screams though it was defeated so may confuse you if its been banished or not. The game does lack content and the XP given for getting supplies and defeating enemy's doesn't feel rewarding enough compared to completing the game session, so its more like get you're objectives done fast and go onto the next game for big XP gain. Compare it like this for XP gain, you complete a session and you gain like 100 or so XP or 150 XP, you need like 1000 XP for level 2. But for the other mechanics for gaining XP like defeating anomalies you only really gain so much, we defeated like 3 or 4 and only gained 18XP which doesn't feel that rewarding, getting supplies i believe only rewards 1xp per supply. So yeah XP gain on the game doesn't feel rewarding enough. Again this game has potential but it lacks XP balancing and content, plus needs a good amount of bugs to be fixed.
A game with great potential! Cant wait to see what the dev does further on down the line.
A little buggy at times, but this game has a lot of potential. I've been enjoying it so far and can't wait to see where it grows from here.
such a creative and cool game! definitely a work in progress but for a beta game I've never had so much fun! Its very creative and lots to do what an awesome game
