It started out pretty good, it's charming, looks pretty nice, there is a lot of variety. But by the end it became such a slog, it is just frustrating and boring,. Every new prestige point is a fight for your life, and while there are a lot of upgrades and talents, there are very few which are direct upgrades. Maybe it scratches the itch for you, but personally I cannot recommend this one.
I only don't recommend this game because this game would like to be linear but it just wastes time. Let's say you realize midway through a prestige that there was an optimal prestige point you spent. Well you cannot change it, and when you are so far into a prestige but you can't get another point, it just sucks to start over without gaining anything. There may be a few paths to win the game, but there are many things that just won't win you the game. If this game made it where you could win it your way, I would say that it's worth it. Since you have to win it using one of a few pre-defined setups (the ones the perk tree naturally guides you toward), I cant recommend it. Ran fine on linux tho

As someone who usually dislikes the mindless style of "incremental" game i found this game weirdly fun so maybe you will too
The long battle against the rock has finally came to a end! but... A piece of me gone with it. Watching the first gnorp being born, Being there for a gnorp's birthday, All those hours planning and strategizing with commander gnorp the IV, I'll miss ALL my gnorps! May they continue a peaceful life of gnorping.
i hate that rock.
I overall liked the vibe and presentation, and think this is a nice idle game for the most part That being said, I think the progression and meta-progression are kinda weird most of the time. Like, there are essentially separate "build paths" (not officially, but its structured this way). But the weird thing is, the commitment cost to actually going down a path is SUPER high. As far as I could tell, there's not really a way to revert this. This leads me to believe that if you pick the "wrong" path, you are essentially screwed and are adding a ton of hours to a normal playthrough (and you don't really have a great way to revert this, you can just accept that you've wasted some points or I guess the other option is to just restart your save?) Just seems like such a weird system when the resources for this meta-progression are already super scarce One additional thing (which kind of compounds with the earlier thing about scarce meta-progression). In some cases, the game does kind of a bad job at explaining exactly what things do (or at least is vague). This wouldn't normally be a problem, but since resources can be so scarce, it just makes me uninterested to explore anything unless I'm 100% sure what its going to do before I "buy" it These things sound sort of negative, but really I think it just kinda pushes you to play a certain way (which I think does limit the game a bit, though this isn't a super unique issue in the genre). But overall its still pretty fun and looks great
needless to say, i gnorped it
Runs bad on linux - both native and Proton lags, which is weird for such a simple game. Color palette is not helping, if you have an OLED - don't leave this game idling or you'll burn marks due to the fact that everything's white!
in the stripped club. straight up "gnorpin it" and by "it", haha, well. let's justr say. My apologue
I enjoy incremental games and this was fun at first, but it gets to a point near the end where you have to start idling which makes me feel like I've wasted my time. The simulations and simple graphics are cool though.
