About

Scavenge and fight for your next day alive under the shadow of gargantuan war machines. Enemies in the game can literally tower over the battlefield. To put it another way:

The battlefield is unpredictable thanks to The Forever Winter’s Dynamic Encounter system: enemies have their own goals and agendas, operating in coordinated groups, undertaking full-scale battles — and they’ll intelligently react to your actions. The battlefield you leave won’t be the same one you return to.
Use your wits, stealth, and skilled gunplay to make it out alive. Choose your path in the shadow of the two great superpowers, loot the dead, and make it out alive. While the warring factions may ignore you at first, the more disruptive you become to their goals, the more they'll seek to remove you from the equation.
Ecological collapse compounded by runaway technological advancement brought us here: a dystopian world choked by 40 years of industrial-scale violence between two military superpowers, AI automata, cybernetically enhanced soldiers, human-machine hybrids, and relentless automated warfare. There's two sides to this war, and you're not on either.

Best game survival game ive ever played since getting my PC. Captures survival itself
The concept is great, it needed foundation, and an engine. We are that quiet engine. Like the Innards, we are unseen, silent, maybe even a force but not like that in the battleground. The concept originally was a vast battlefield of chaos, factions targeting indiscriminately in a wartorn world through a seemingly perpertual loop and perpeptual war, equipped with a rig, adapted for the sake of how the world is around you now, you are expected to surpass challenges, and fend for yourself. Strike when you need to, let the factions do the work when you can, gather the grubs and boom boom, get out with something to drink for victory. Ai could definitely use a little more.. oomph In the tunnels this is a good example, predictable module, path, spawn, and behaviour The same is alike with when you're detected. Apparently I can just run away a couple corners and "It must've been the wind" Other than those nuances, and a lot that could be improved, I do enjoy the game, and I would like to see them leap these restricted bounds

This and every other Pro feature is free until October 20, 2026. A free account is all it takes.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game's visual style is its crowning glory. Vast factory complexes, tangled pipes, dim emergency lights, and billowing steam create a haunting sense of hopelessness. Beyond the visuals, the underlying philosophy is captivating: you're not the master of fate, but a common garbage rat, tracing the aftermath of great battles through the ruins. This makes the game tense and tactical. The soundtrack, with its metallic clanking and the hum of reactors, completely immerses you in this dark tale. The game is raw, but it has enormous potential. There are optimization issues on some maps; looking at a specific location causes a sharp drop in frame rate. There are also some localization issues and quest bugs. But even now, the game offers an incomparable experience. The music is simply mind-blowing! 12 heartfelt drills out of 10!

Never played extraction shooter before Arc Raiders but at some point i started to hate the rats so i came here aaaaaaaaaaaaaand founnd the best game in the world. Eventhough it is Early Acces and somtimes a little bit rough it is better than 92.58 Percent of the games i played since 1997. And i only got a RTX 2060 6GB which is to weak to play Downtown Lost Angels but i'm fine with it and love everything. Stay the way you are Fundog
At the start, it’s extremely hard, confusing, and unforgiving. Then it gets fine, almost easy, before becoming godforsaken again. Just wait until your first night map or your first map with only cyborgs. They’re like CoD Zombies on drugs, relentless and never ending. Sometimes they bring a big ass, unkillable dog, runners, large mechs, and drones. This game will test your resolve. It’s beautiful and so much more fun when you play it with someone. Multiplayer makes the missions a little janky, but otherwise, it’s pretty good.
