About

Scavenge and fight for your next day alive under the shadow of gargantuan war machines. Enemies in the game can literally tower over the battlefield. To put it another way:

The battlefield is unpredictable thanks to The Forever Winter’s Dynamic Encounter system: enemies have their own goals and agendas, operating in coordinated groups, undertaking full-scale battles — and they’ll intelligently react to your actions. The battlefield you leave won’t be the same one you return to.
Use your wits, stealth, and skilled gunplay to make it out alive. Choose your path in the shadow of the two great superpowers, loot the dead, and make it out alive. While the warring factions may ignore you at first, the more disruptive you become to their goals, the more they'll seek to remove you from the equation.
Ecological collapse compounded by runaway technological advancement brought us here: a world choked by 40 years of industrial-scale violence between two military superpowers, unmerciful mass killing by AI automata, human-machine hybrids, and the bleak truth of human nature. There’s two sides to this war, and you’re not on either.

Was skeptical at first as this game had mixed reviews but after playing for a while, I needed to write a review to help the developers because they have created something special with this game. I think the majority of negative reviewers bought this game thinking it was something it is not. Which is unfair to other people that may see the mixed reviews and skip over it. A good description would be that you play as a small fish in a very big pond. Enemies in your first tunnel will mow you down easily if you play carelessly. That all changes when you get to the surface as you find out how weak you truly are. You need to learn what you can ambush and kill when needed and what will squash you like a bug if you get in its way. Conserve your ammo and let the enemy armies fight each other then swoop in from the shadows and loot the dead. You are a scavenger, you fight what you can and avoid the rest until you have more powerful weapons and more friends. I'm not completely glazing the developers though, some of the other complaints are valid. AI is very simple, but I don't see that as a huge negative as it works for what this game is. There are bugs with enemies falling through the map and UI problems with your stash/vendors/guns that are more frustrating and confusing than game breaking.
Шикарнейший визуал и атмосфера
I love this game! The atmosphere, the gunplay, the map design! And the way the maps change, you just never get tired of it. This is a dark, nightmarish vision of the future and I love it. Dont even get me started on the music. What a soundtrack! I cant recommend this game enough! I was so impressed by the world that I sat and watched an hourlong youtube video about The Forever Winters lore.
I really don't care if it doesn't abide by bungie's "30 seconds of fun" rule. I'm not booting up this game to have traditional fun. I'm booting it up to feel like a rat scurrying between the cracks and watch cool ass NPC mechs fight eachother. Nothing else delivers that vibe quite like this game. It's a bit janky in places like the enemies' random stop-and-start rotation and lack of tweening animations, but I'm too busy experiencing the best art and atmosphere ever put in a game to care.
Game is good (it's buggy tho) I really like this game, but it has it's issues... here are some examples: -Enemies getting stuck in the environment -You getting stuck in the environment -Some specific objects may be missing collision meshes -AI navigation could use some improvement -Weapon mods displaying incorrectly on game models Despite these things I find the game to be quite enjoyable, and it's currently one of my favorite games to play even in it's current state. I'm looking forward to enjoying more of this game, though i really hope they focus on the bugs before full release and fix everything. My Opinion: I think this is a great game, I've always wanted a pve focused extraction game that can be played solo or with friends and this is wonderful. I'm glad I decided to finally pick this one up, I had always been on the fence about this game due to it's poor initial release, however I would say it's in a very playable state just some particular bugs that really stand out. It has it's ups and downs, but that's what makes it special. I would recommend this game to people who like a gritty apocalypse setting with some thrilling tactical fps gameplay.
Malísima optimización ... Tengo r9 5950x 32gb ram 24gb vram. M2. Y me funciona.
Pile of stinking fundog ♥♥♥♥! Initial quests bug out and refuse to complete. You have to buy a dlc just to have a character skin that doesn't look like the south end of a north bound jackass, and even those are barely tolerable. I could have continued had the game's spaghetti coding allowed me to complete the new player onboarding quests. Seriously, this is supposed to be the new player experience after an hour of aggravation that I didn't need I've had enough!
not bad . but need more graphics
