really enjoy this little game considering is only made by one person or so really solid foundation worth the £1.50 few things id recommend from playing when a tree is in the way of camera in when you take a shot maybe make the tree go invisable golf buggy customisation because why not less bounce when ball hits sand bunkers besides that really enjoyable game worth the money could be real fun with a multiplayer also i am a bald man give me bald head
I'm never going to criticise a golf game for trying to do things differently in a genre mostly filled with the same mechanics. And yes, this is certainly a bit different! Starting with the swing system which is presented in a way I've never come across. It does work and there is logic to it, once you get your nut around the approach. You WILL get caught out at first if you're used to the regular 3-press systems but it comes to you, even if it remains a bit weird. How I can I say.... I don't not love it? Similar;y, ball flight is represented from unusual angles especially towards the end of a shot. Graphics are crisp and pretty if a little generic, UIs decent enough. And it is fun once you get the hang of it, and that is the most important thing. It's not without issues, but it seems to still be receiving regular updates. Currently there are four 9-hole courses which can be played in free play or as a CPU tournament. The wind is very, very OP and tough to predict IMO (5mph, really? :D ) and there's quite the grind to improve clubs. But what can't be overlooked is that this is a single dev endeavour, and the dev seems friendly and receptive in discussion and suggestion boards. In that frame it is quite the achievement *salutes* and well worth the crazy-cheap price, especially as I suspect there is more to come yet. Not my favourite golf game, but definitely worthy of your time and as I said at the beginning, I'm all for something a little different.
Pretty impressive considering this game was created by one guy in his spare time. It’s no frills and barebones yet still a lot of fun. No brainer for a few dollars if you like golf games. This is a chill golf arcade game, good for just turning off your brain and playing a few rounds. I wish more golf games let you drive the cart around, it’s actually my favorite part of the game, it’s fun and makes it feel more immersive.
If your looking for a game to chill out on then this is a perfect game
I liked this game as it was nice and simple to play and only cost £1.49. The graphics are perfect for this style game and the element of a 'career' is fun to work through. There are a few different maps to play and each one takes about 15-20 minutes depending on if you run or drive (cool feature). Finally, I like finding the $ scattered in the trees which help level up and buy new gear :)
Super fun arcade golf game. Could easily sink a bunch of hours into this, and you can't go wrong with the price.
Great game, well worth the price. So chilled out I didn't realise I had been playing for over an hour. I like that you can drive the golf buggy between shots, makes it feel immersive. Also each location is great to look at making it stand out from other golf games I've played. I'd definitely recommend, at this price it's a no-brainer
Not a bad little game especially for the price, don't get me wrong there is room for improvement in places but I have a good time when I play it. It's simple yet effective. I have a good laugh, especially when showing my friends. I enjoy the driving range the most, very beautiful scenes there. Not bad for a game developed by a singular person. Look forward to what's to come.
This is a fun (and a little quirky at times) arcade golf game at a lovely budget price. There's currently four 9-hole courses, a driving range to hone your skills and a career mode where you can freely pick any of the 4 courses and slowly level up as you go whilst also gaining fans and funds to gain sponsors and purchase other balls, clubs, flags, trails and carts. Mechanically, hitting a shot requires you to go through 3 timing-based meters in order - power, horizontal shaping and then loft. I think it's pretty neat that you get this much control via the 3 meters, and I feel it gives the game a slightly unique feel. Visually, it's serviceable but looks akin to a mobile game. It does the job though and some courses do look quite pleasant whilst playing them. There's visual inconsistencies with some assets being low-poly and others less so, and in this way it has a sort-of dreamlike quality to it at times. I think this is also due to the slightly 'off' sense of scale/proportions than make your player feel a little too small for the world at certain moments. I don't actually mind this and in some ways would love to see the dev lean more into this surreal aspect to give the game a unique flavour (but that's probably just me being an odd bod). It runs smoothly on my older hardware (i7 4790 3.6GHz with GTX 1660 Super @ 1440p, capped to 60fps with RTSS) and a recent update has helped a lot with this. It's great to see the game's solo developer continue to improve and evolve the game. Regardless of the game's quirks, it remains fun to play (and is also quite relaxing with the rain weather audio). It's amusing being able to run around in sped-up mode or hop in a cart for a quick razz about on the greens just because you can. Just remember to turn the speed up mode off before activating the power bar unless you fancy a bunch of overpowered shots :D Sadly there's no multiplayer or leaderboards etc, so this is strictly a solo affair. I think the inclusion of these would be a welcome addition and deliver some longevity but for the low price it's very hard to grumble when the game is still fun to play. If you're up for a slightly quirky arcade golf game I reckon you'd easily get your money's worth.
ENG: It's nice, relaxing, casual, it complies, but it also feels very improvable, as if it lacked a little more time in the oven. Everything in the game could be better, mechanics, controls, UI, etcetera, even so, it's okay and already received 2 patches with many improvements, so there is potential for it to get better. I recommend it if you are looking for a casual golf to listen to music at a low price.
