Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A really good sequel, not scary like the first game, but good. I hope we will get a third part in the future

Une suite réussie qui ouvre son monde sans perdre son ambiance dérangée. Moins punitif, plus fluide et toujours aussi prenant.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The Evil Within 2 is a really good game despite the fact on paper it has very little going for it. A sequel to the -not great- Evil Within, it inherited a tangled conspiracy of a plot and set of disjointed mechanics and decided the correct move was to scale up. Bring in more conspiracy, bring in more combat, bring in more game. Reading all this it seems like Evil Within 2 should be an even bigger failure than 1, after all what's better than a mess but a bigger mess? And yet, Tango pulled everything together and created a fantastic horror-action game that manages to be both high-octane and frightening. Open-world and horror is a combination that doesn't seem like it'd work, but by keeping the open maps small but dense it creates the effect of feeling constantly, inescapably trapped. Combat is punchy and enemies are all over the place, but even though you're strong against small groups there are simply too many to easily take them all on, forcing you to take cautious skirmishes. Break up the open world sections with more linear dungeon sections and you get a mixture that doesn't get stale. It's a very varied game aesthetically. It touches on gothic, slasher, Japanese, zombie and sci-fi horror throughout the course of the game and Sebastian's straight-laced-detective-shtick is a good foil. Likewise the plot avoid the pitfall of convolution by upping the convolutedness to the point you just accept it. One crazy killer getting into the matrix and corrupting it makes no sense. Every crazy killer in North America ending up in the matrix? Sure, that's obviously where you put crazy killers. Tango did a great job with this, and they should be applauded for their success. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes action-horror or anyone who likes really pulpy writing.
Melhor jogo de terror
The Evil Within 2 is a solid survival horror game. The story is better compared to the previous rendition, however I liked the design of the first game more. It had that "dirty" and rough look which makes a good horror game if you know what I mean. It does a few things good and a few things bad. The good: Alright story, gameplay feels really enjoyable (killing enemies and collecting the goop to upgrade ur abilities), the semi-open world was cool to explore although pretty small and the game overall has interesting ideas such as Stefano as a villain. Although not many, there are a few instances where the game plays out in a scarier tone. Especially the segments with Anima scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me when I played the game for the first time. It catches you off guard and if you use a controller ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ her singing gives you goosebumps. These segments are too short and few to make the game really scary tho. The Bad: The aiming and overall control is kinda awkward (which is not on purpose I think) especially when an enemy is moving towards you and you shoot besides them it can be really annoying, the comedic elements feel really out of place sometimes (in comparison to a game where they fit in, like RE4). The biggest critisism is probably, that the game does a few things good, a few bad, but nothing stands out. The highs are good and the lows are bad without ever exceeding mediocrity by much. I give it a 7/10, if you wanna have fun and play a good survival horror with good gameplay you should give it a try, but dont expect anything new and exciting when it comes to survival horror.
