The Evil Within 2 def beat my expectation. It offers smooth gameplay, flexible exploration, and a semi-open world that makes progression feel engaging and player-driven. The UI is top-notch! The upgrade system and pacing keep things interesting, though the horror atmosphere can feel less intense at times and the story has some weaker moments. Despite those flaws, I personally enjoyed it a lot—actually more than Resident Evil 2 & Resident Evil 3 that I played recently
