Did we mention catgirls? :)

The Elevator Game is a ritual that is said to give the player access to another world by following a strict set of rules.
Motivated by a bet made with her classmate, Asahi's girlfriend Kirin decides to give the game a try. As Asahi waits outside of the building that Kirin chose to perform the ritual in, she starts to experience some confusing and unexplainable things...
Kirin fails to return that day, or the day after. Feeling somehow guilty as though Kirin's disappearance might be her fault, Asahi determines to try and find her missing girlfriend... by playing the Elevator Game herself.
Will your choices help find her?

It's Slay the Princess in that it is a VN where you are expected to repeat the same basic loop many times in order to get all of the endings. Unlike Slay the Princess, you have to look around for clues as to how to find the next combination of building floors to travel to instead of just navigating the dialog tree differently to continue. I very much enjoyed my time with it. The game can be beaten in around 4 hours, so take that into consideration when thinking about if you want to wait for a sale.
a really solid light horror VN experience.
A funky blend of narrative and puzzle elements all tied together by excellent art and atmosphere. The growing dread as the overarching story was gradually revealed alongside some excellently creepy moments made this a really fun game to play through.
trop trop bien, bravo les lesbiennes
atmosphere? FULLY delivered on. what it says on the tin: horror VN, filled with puzzle clickables. worth the time, certainly worth the money. also i love kirin.
I liked the story and characters. It's one of the few games that actually makes the "time loop" interesting and enjoyable with new things to explore everytime! The drama between the protagonist and Kirin in the true ending could've been a little deeper, but I still liked it.
Despite the reactions friends have given me when seeing this in library because of the catgirls aspect, this is truly one of my top games. I think the story and art are both amazing and as someone that's very picky about anything horror, I think the horror in this game was done very well. I would love to see more like this from the devs in the future. Also, i absolutely love the yuri love between Asahi and Kirin.
man i love catgirls
very good on steam deck!
well written, compelling characters, leaves you wondering about the larger implications of a catgirl's place in society
