The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR

I have to give this a thumbs down because of the horrible job bethesda did with this port. It's so ridiciously bad, but then again the modding scene is so great at fixing their games for free. The modders are really talented people. If you're willing to install at least 500 mods you can get it to a playable state, but still not perfect. it crashes like every 30 - 45 min and sometimes you have to start it 2 or 3 times because the height calibration gets messed up but if you get it running it's a really astonishing experience. having to aim your bow yourself or dualwielding magic is really fun. Also wait for a massive sale because paying full price for this would be laughable

This game would be great if it weren’t for the cardboard cutouts and the extreme headaches and nausea

I bought it hoping it would make me love Skyrim again but its just broken. Other than the fact that you need mods just to make it not complete garbage; it wont save. I have tried all the online fixes I could find and still nothing. Still charging full price for this garbage is also ridiculous.

Not saying it can't be fun, but i bought this expecting some level of combat physics or feedback, but it's basically just that gif of that angry little girl waving her hair brush back and forth.

I bought this game a couple weeks ago and I can't get anything about 18 fps. I've spent probably over 30 hours doing research and tweaking with settings but nothing works. I have a super strong PC and amazing WIFI, I play every other VR game on ULTRA perfectly fine but can't get past 18 fps on potato settings. I've asked reddit and all my friends and no one has any idea why this is happening (This is the only vr game that is doing this). I love skyrim and I want to love this but I literally can't play it and no one has any answers. **EDIT** I just fixed it by optimizing it with my driver, I can finally be inside my childhood game. I only recommend this to people who are willing to put the work in to play.

such FUN! skyrim is a great game. skyrim in VR is an amazing experience by default, but with tweaks its awesome.. Full fat skyrim with modding included, throw in a few of the better VR mods and you have a true VR world to roam... sure, the graphics are outdated and the environments are kinda barebones, but its a 2011 game... my brain got confused climbing the 7000 stairs of high hrothgar and i was sweatng my ass off because my body felt warm but my brain felt icy cold.

I played this on switch and it glitched out in the middle of the story and was unplayable. I finally gave it another shot on VR with mods and .....wow. I get it now. What an Epic game. There's so much content that you can just wander around forever finding new things. Highly recommend, but it's a shame it needs mods to really bring everything out.
