Me encanto cuando salio, y aqui años después me estoy dando el permiso y gusto de terminarlo, horas de entretenimiento bien diseñado, y mas si eres de los pacientes que les gusta explorar cada rincón.

И вот спустя почти 20 лет я увидел как же выглядел Обливион... Проходил игру в студенчестве на ПК тянущим Обливион на минималках и то с тормозами. Поставив перед собой цель пройти Древние Свитки начиная с Арены я наконец добрался до Обливиона. Если честно графика игры всё равно радует даже спустя такое количество лет (хотя возможно такое восторженное ощущение возникает когда ещё пару месяцев назад играл в пиксельные Арену и Даггерфол)! До чего же проработанные побочные квесты, пожалуй лучшие в серии. НО Морровинд всё равно лучше, Морровинд уникальнее, Морровинд глубже. Обливион хорошая игра, но он не оставляет никакого приятного послевкусия, а жестокий автолевелинг не позволяет ощутить могущество героя и львиная доля игры будет проходить в душных боях хоть на 1 уровне, хоть на 40. Да, а ещё беда с лицами в этой части игры, уродцы ровно все. Не вижу смысла покупать ремастер, когда версия 2009 года всё ещё стоит своего времени. Хотя вот ремастер Морровинда я бы купил (на заметку разработчикам). Покойся с миром Уриэль VII...
Wow. Just... Wow. It's probably one of the best RPGs I've ever played; and I rarely play RPGs. (At the time of writing, I am 8 hrs into Oblivion; and I'm looking forward to put more hours into it.)
Better than the remake? No question. Yes. Better than Skyrim? Yes. Easy. Better than Morrowind? Kind of. Not as in depth, but easier to play. Better than Daggerall? Ooooh, that's hard. Not as fun in general, but more advanced in playability.
Tengo que escribir esta reseña con el motivo de ser una muestra (ridicula) de algo, no sé si de cariño, respeto o simplemente de amor hacia Oblivion. No me interesa hablar tanto de la historia, es decir... amigo lector es un Elder Scroll numerado: su lore, ambiente y el mundo a explorar, de base es considerablemente abrumador y divertido. Divertido a pesar de tener mazmorras clonicas a veces, de tener un sistema de combate de aporrear botones, el seductor y nada evitable savescumming, de los bugs en misiones que te impiden completarlas, de que los guardias te rompan las piernas por robar un rabano o cuchara de peltre si no puedes defenderte, de pasar corriendo las inefables secciones de oblivion, de la dificultad y nivelado extraño en los enemigos donde reforzar alquimia hace que los enemigos sean jodidamente fuertes, de tener misiones de recadero que por algún motivo se debe enfrentar a enemigos muy por encima a pesar de tener npc aliados mucho mas idoneos. Todo ello, errores y descuidos, algunos solucionados por la maravillosa comunidad de modders, otros con tener precaución al jugar. Todos esos errores se volvieron insignificantes. Realmente estuve pasando un mal momento en lo personal pero siempre TESIV estaba con los brazos abiertos (Es un videojuego, así que resistencia no pondría). Me reí por las situaciones con los npc robóticos que tiene, navegue por su mundo, leyendo, pensando, luchando, mirando. Muchas veces aterrado por los monstruos y situaciones de terror a las que se prestaba. Otras sintiendo jubilo partiendo las cabezas a los trolls con un sablazo de la Umbra. Otras tantas simplemente admirando a las argonianas. y unas pocas, de las cuales me arrepiento, de probar skooma. Realmente Oblivion es un juego que se vuelve un amigo. Es claro que volveré: deje DLC, gremio de guerreros y magos, la hermandad oscura, mazmorras, minas, fuertes, ruinas. Demonios, mucho contenido por explorar, el cual mi PJ, el khajita Pantera no pudo ni debía completar, su arco narrativo concluyo en las 123 horas. Otros heroes vendrán a cyrodiil. Esto es un hasta luego. No obstante si no llegase a ocurrir la vuelta y tuviera que decir adiós, espero que exista un mas allá para jugarlo de nuevo. Debo agradecer de corazón a mis amigos que me lo recomendaron: saludos a los hermanos Quilombo, el Narigon y el Oreja. Entiendan que no la estoy pasando bien y me cuesta abrirme.
