This game is so good! Love these types of games, this one gives GREAT suspense!

A nice anomaly puzzle game. the 1st and 3rd lv were quite hard but the 2nd was eazy, didnt event lost a single time on it.

It's a simple anomaly game, but I would have liked some jump scares or difficult modes, but maybe that will come at some point - it has potential!

2/10 Only rated that high for the first level. I don't know if the anomalies didn't render in half the time on the second level, but the last level I never saw a single anomaly no matter how hard I looked. I eventually just kept entering the elevator until I beat the game. The Surgery level was the only one I would consider a working level and even then the anomalies had little variety. Mostly added items, missing items, or a size variance. The second level Abandoned was all right, mostly missing items and stains on the floor, but many of them I guessed. This environment is very bland compared to the other two. Then the Morgue level was either extremely too subtle or the anomalies didn't exist. I'm so confused. I tried the visual assist for the last level and while I didn't see all the anomalies, what I could see was just a item missing and two displacement anomalies. While I though the soundtrack was good and the level system is a great idea to give the player change of view I wouldn't recommend this one. If you want to try a anomaly game such as that I would recommend "Broken Tape". Not worth the money. Don't buy.

Nicht kaufen. Einfach... nicht. Ich hab The Eerie Surroundings gestartet in der Hoffnung auf ein bisschen gepflegten Horror – stattdessen bekam ich eine Mischung aus Kinderkran-Atmosphäre und einschläferndem Leveldesign. Wo ist der Horror? Ich hab mehr Gänsehaut beim Öffnen einer Stromrechnung als bei diesem Spiel. Die Story ist wirrer als eine Annemomamelie unter Vollmond, und die "Schockmomente" fühlen sich an wie ein Birefick im Schneckentempo. Paranoid macht hier höchstens der Gedanke, dass ich dafür Geld ausgegeben habe (was gelogen ist). Der Schwierigkeitsgrad? Nicht vorhanden. Das Spiel ist so herausfordernd wie ein leerer Kleiderschrank. Frech wird's beim Sounddesign, das klingt, als hätte jemand mit einer Analfistel auf ein Mikro gehustet. NPCs verhalten sich wie von Analmarie persönlich programmiert. Die Grafik? Hoden. Die Steuerung? Penis. Die Dialoge? Kacke. Ich hab mich zeitweise gefragt, ob das Spiel nicht als Satire gedacht ist – oder als medikamentenfreier Schlafersatz. Hätte ich statt diesem Spiel einfach meine Wand angestarrt, wäre ich besser unterhalten worden. Und das sagt jemand, der freiwillig PowerPoint-Präsentationen über Steuerrecht schaut. Fazit: Langweilig, ohne Horror, ohne Sinn. Eher was für Leute mit einem Fetisch für Enttäuschungen.

으스스한 분위기 속에서 방의 구조를 기억했다가 스테이지마다 이상한 부분이 있는지 없는지 정답을 맞추는 게임입니다. 암기형 틀린그림찾기 정도로 표현할 수 있겠네요. 분위기만 음산할 뿐 그 외에 별도의 공포요소는 없었습니다. 총 세 개의 방이 있고, 각 방마다 12스테이지까지 도달하면 클리어. 선택지가 둘뿐이라 그냥 찍어도 제법 정답률은 높은 편이지만, 틀리면 처음으로 되돌아가고 정답 순서도 무작위라 결국은 방 안 구조를 다 외워서 플레이하게 됩니다. 처음엔 막막하고 짜증도 조금 나지만, 계속 틀리고 반복하다 보면 자연스레 방 안 구조가 머릿속에 들어오게 되네요. 이상이 발생하는 지점이 정해져 있고 그 수가 많지 않아 난이도는 쉬운 편이었습니다. 짤막한 간식용게임으로 삼기 좋은 게임이었습니다.

NOTE: Thanks to the dev for giving me a key, very much appreciated. This first person spot the difference horror game does its own take on The Exit 8 formula, by having you look for anomalies against a set time that you must complete it by. I quite liked the speedrun aspect, definitely made the game feel fresh by having its own unique gimmick. The fast paced nature of the game helped keep me engaged, which is a huge plus especially as other games in the genre can drag when you are anomaly hunting. I also liked the fact that to play the other maps you first had to beat the timer on the current map (which tbh isn't that hard of a challenge after a couple goes). The 3 maps are small in size, not got much to talk about there they are alright except for the lighting was a little dark on the second map. The anomalies repeat often and get fairly easy to notice once you've been in for a few minutes but I really wouldn't consider that a negative, this isn't a game focused on the quantity of anomalies and the fact there's 3 maps means the repeated anomalies don't get annoying. There weren't any scares or anomalies that try to kill you either, which with how the game is structured makes sense but its lacking in the horror department a little. To sum it up, fun Exit 8 like game with a speedrun/challenge aspect that for the cheap price is a game I'd definitely recommend, especially if you are a fan of the horror spot the difference games. 7.5/10 EDIT: Quick thing to note is I had to beat the first map twice to unlock the second map fairly sure that's a glitch but just something to note

Another Exit 8-like. Very pretty and more horror themed than this developer's previous games. Worth your time if you like this genre.
