Demon Go! is a game that feels like it wants to be something unique but ends up with repetitive gameplay that acts too much like a boring mobile game. It claims to be a platformer, but it's not really much more than an auto-scroller where you jump or dash, and it's pretty much never that interesting. After playing the first two worlds then refunding the game, I think there's a few obvious problems that need to be addressed to make this worth playing. First, the level design feels incredibly homogeneous and never unique, I could never look at a single stage and tell you which it is because they're all the same. In just the first world, you basically fight the same mini-boss twice, and then a regular boss that is also basically the same thing. Optional objectives are fine but sometimes seem to be especially annoying due to how coins are stored in crates, you can have an instance where they just fall into lava so you can't collect them thus making the goal RNG-dependent at times. A lot of the production design of the game feels incredibly rough as well, such as terrible audio balancing as well as some weird English translations that occasionally don't make sense. Overall, if this was published for Android or iPhone I would consider playing it for free, but I would never want to pay for this on PC when it's barely anything at all.
Геймпад сломан, котики спасены
Sadly, this would have been a good game, but it eats inputs all the time. I got 3 stars in every level to the point I have played and would have wanted to finish the game 100% but the 8th level in world 4 is where I drew the line. I do no want to play a level a 100 times, just to get lucky that all my inputs get registered on the 100th try. The game wants you do chain several jumps and dashes together to get over certain parts. It has these "refresher" boxes to give you an extra dash or jump midair, that you gotta collect, but about half the time after collecting these and pressing the button, nothing happens. I stop in midair very briefly, so your command did definitely register, but after that you do not jump up or dash forward, but you just fall down. it also doesn't always grant the same height. I've done that same level like 40 times by now, and after getting a refresh on the jump box, fell down to my death about 20 times without anything happening and jumped up the other 20 times. From these 20 times, another 10 times my jump height wasn't high enough to reach the next box or platform and I just fell down to my death yet again. from the last 10 times I got past it, I encounter the same problem at the next jump and have to hope to get it again. rinse and repeat. it feels god awful. the levels would be pretty easy if the game actually controlled well. Its a damn autorunner, how hard can it be to make your jumps and dashes feel good? It is like the only bit of control you get and it doesn't even work. I didn't notice it as much in earlier levels, but the harder the levels get, the more blatent the flaws. At first I really had fun with the game, by the end I ragequit it, because I got better things to do, than pray and hope that all my jumps work correctly.

Demon Go! Is a auto runner with 2 buttons gameplay, discover 5 worlds into more than 50 levels. Graphics (6 / 10) : The graphics are correct, but not incredible, correct 2d design of characters / field / enemy. 5 differents atmospheres. Gameplay (6.5 / 10) : The base gameplay is simple but work well, 2 buttons, jump and dash, use them for killing enemy, running and avoid traps. The game have many different mechanics, like double jump, jump on enemy, destroy crates and using explosives for killings enemy. There a shop for getting permanent artefact that give some bonus in the game (double jump / revive / more money ...) The game have many levels (+50 levels), but the game is pretty repetitive, and pretty die and retry. The game also have boss levels, with special ways to kill them. Price (7 / 10) : The game is pretty cheap, cost 2.39 euros, and take around 2-3 hours for main complexion. Story/Music/Optimization (6.5 / 10) : The game have a story, and translate into multiples languages (french, english, german …), but no voice in the game (only text based) The music is correct, but pretty repetitive (one music for each atmosphere) Played on high settings, and don’t have any freeze or fps drop (played on a i5, 2Go VRAM and 8Go RAM), explainable because of a 2d game. Final Note (6.5 / 10) : Demon Go! Is a pleasant auto-runner with a cheap price, but really repetitive. Recommended for people who want short games and like simple auto-runner. + : - Cheap price - Different atmospheres / multiples enemy chara-design - Simple efficient gameplay based on 2 buttons. - : - Really repetitive / really die and retry. - Base game is pretty short (2-3 hours around) - Maybe too simple graphics
2d arcade platform oyunu hızlı akıyor çizimleri güzel ve komik sevdim eğlenceli
Not bad but you will forget it in a week.
TL;DR: If you are a fan of runner games, this game may be worth trying out. While I am not personally familiar with the genre, I believe someone who enjoys runner games would enjoy this game. That being said, the game does have some issues. Most notably, the lack of jump buffering, considering the character controls, has resulted in numerous deaths for me. Additionally, some of the new mechanics and traps introduced in later levels do not feel well implemented, and the animations for boss battles and traps lack anticipation. The upgrade system is a nice touch, but certain upgrades can make certain levels much more difficult without it being clear from the outset. Finally, the gamepad controls for navigating the menus are poor. I would expect better-implemented gamepad controls for the menus, since it is a "runner" game, a genre that is heavily played with gamepads. Overall, I stopped playing after a certain level due to the design issues mentioned above. I only suggest that those who adore runner games give this game a go. If you are not a fan of the genre, you would be better off with another game.
