The Dwarves

Игра, которая держится исключительно на бородах. Да, сеттинг редкий и атмосферный: дворфы, молоты, пафосное фэнтези — тут всё ок. Но на этом хорошие новости заканчиваются. Прокачки почти нет. Половина умений у героев одинаковые, просто разложены по разным персонажам и уровням. Много скиллов — мусор. В бой берёшь три кнопки, жмёшь их по кд и делаешь вид, что это тактика. Бои — это постоянная куча мала. Роли не работают, ИИ тупит, дружественный огонь делает хаос ещё веселее. Самый эффективный билд — несколько персонажей с жирным АОЕ и спам по площади. Думать не надо, позиционирование — миф. Боссы сюжетные, скучные и обязательные. Сложность настраивается, но смысла страдать на харде нет — игра от этого интереснее не становится. Сюжет норм… потому что он из книги. Не заслуга игры. Итог: Если вы фанат дворфов — можно потерпеть. Если ждёте RPG или нормальную тактику — проходите мимо. Это не стратегия. Не RPG. Это бородатый слешер с паузой и завышенным самомнением.

I must say if you like DND and love dwarves. This is the game for you. The story can be somewhat hard to follow, but the story building is fantastic and so is the Combat. 10/10 would Oink, Oink again to any orc.

I can say i loved the story, The art work, the music. But there are so many bugs i found in the game. npc's stuck in T pose. The controls are horrible. Like it felt like i should have more control over my character but somewhere down the line they changed the controls. Because the right click to move and then use an ability and left click. It did not always work or you are marked for action to your left and your guy swings to the right. I mean i cursed a lot at this game. But what kept me going was wanting to know what happens next and also the narration. Thank you for narrating the whole game and not just main stuff. I would still play Dwarves 2 when ever it comes out. So i am going to keep an eye out. But please for the love of god FIX THE CONTROLS!!

i got this on sale for 10$, this game wasnt even worth that price, seeing king art will be releasing dawn of war 4 made me want to try this game and iron harvest and after playing both i can say that i dont have high hopes for dawn of war 4, but as far as this game goes its like playing balders gate 3 made for a 3 year old, its very much like playing a phone game, skip this one.

Rock and Stone!

The games story is well written, however i find the combat and most events to be extremely buggy to the point where they just stop working meaning u have to reload old saves or members of your party just dont respond in combat causing u to fail and redo it all over and over again. overall i found despite the rich story telling that the flaws with events and the janky gameplay ruins the entire experiance

On paper, commanding a squad of angry little bearded warriors sounds great. In practice, it’s a lot of awkward combat, questionable design choices and moments where the game just kind of shrugs at you. There is a decent story in here and some cool ideas trying their best to escape, but the gameplay just keeps tripping over its own axe leaving it unpolished with moments that make you grind your teeth.

The Dwarves is a charming little fantasy romp that plays similar to a table of DnD. While the combat is a bit weird like baldurs gate and dynasty warriors had a disfigured child the overall charm wins over. If anything this has convinced me the books might be worth a look in the future. 6.5/10.

It's a super simplistic, short, RPG Story with some survival modes. The Campaign will take you something like 3 hours and the story is basically a glossery of the generic Hero Arch. Still a Solid experience - just don't expect any grand, or epic adventures. Buy at around $15 or less.

Колись починав читати книгу за якою, власне, і була зроблена ця гра, але закинув, бо дуже вона стерильна й правильна. За все хороше, проти всього поганого. Гра така сама. У мене вона асоціюється з колись брутальним чоловіком якому відрізали яйця. То він розчулюється з чогось, то кидається в бійку. У грі поперемінно кровище й соплі. А під кінець ще й якоїсь феміністичної маячні додали. Добре хоч гра коротка, а то так би ще й до появи ЛГБТ дочекався. Рольова та тактична система примітивні, але більшу частину гри було весело. Дварфи прикольні. Проте, сюжет не дасть поставить палець вгору.
