Short but hits hard, good stuff
Interesting concept, but I didn't like the delivery. From a gameplay perspective, it got very boring after the 5th-ish cycle. The hero begins to input read, starts to have no cooldown for their attacks, and knows exactly where to stand to avoid your attacks. As the queen, your attacks are slow, and have cool downs. In other words, there's no way of winning against the hero as the cycle continues. At this point, the game is really just story driven from your speech options with the hero. However, in my opinion, the story isn't well presented. The hero is incredibly preachy about his growth after each death cycle and asks nonsensical questions in regards to how the queen can continue being the same without changing. I can't really put my finger on it, but it's just a strange sequence of events, especially how quick everything happens, time-wise. Lastly, the queen's dialogue becomes increasing sympathetic. It doesn't really make sense for the queen to start falling in love or having feelings with the hero in such a short span of time. To wrap it up, the concept is interesting...the story and gameplay really does need to be better done. I'm electing not to refund the game, despite being within the refund period, in hopes the developer can create another game as I really think the concept is interesting. I really hope the characters and story can be better fleshed out.
Top spiel für zwischendurch. Man ist schnell fertig aber es ist deep

копеечная флешка со сломанными скриптами и ватными таймингами
8/10 Very cute game! I just wish there were more endings to explore the dynamic between the Queen and the Hero.
A great little meta game that doesn't really come up in the discussions of this genre. Sure, it doesn't open files on your computer or have an ARG attached to it, but I think the way it presents its ideas should land it up there in the "games about games" category. I very much enjoyed my time with it. Struggling against the ever-evolving Hero gives the game a strong atmosphere of inevitable doom, which I quite like, especially since it plays well with the Queen's character. The Queen and the Hero's dialogues are also quite enjoyable, and the way the Queen changes her behaviour really tugged at my heartstrings.
I love how there's no true happy ending; there's change, but it's comforting more than it is rewarding.

The ending where the Queen triumphs is a bit grindy and annoying, but tbf I like it thematically, since it takes a lot to resist the inevitable.
Overall, pretty good short game, give it a shot if you're interested.
