Got locked in the first room you opened with the key, it seems you have to take a photo of a painting but you don't have a camera and can't get out of this room. Discussions show there are more people having this exact problem. Scam, don't support !!!
The Curse of Elmwood is a captivating adventure game that immerses players in a hauntingly beautiful world filled with mystery and exploration. The storyline is well-crafted, offering intriguing puzzles that weave seamlessly into the narrative
Cozy atmospheric horror with excellent graphics and interesting riddles
This is more of a puzzle game than it is a horror game. I spent more time optimizing the settings and trying to find notes and items that i didn't find in the correct order because i had so much trouble seeing due to poor game optimization. Don't get me wrong, the game looks amazing and runs smoothly on the lowest graphics settings. I don'y have a monster of a computer but it doesn't really ever struggle with most games on the highest settings. but this game it couldn't run medium settings. The story to the game had so much potential to be great but i was left more confused than anything. You aught to be one smart cookie if your gonna beat this game by yourself, I had to look some solutions up... I hope to see some optimization and more sustenance to the story and clues to the puzzles in the future as it just feels like a guessing game at this point.
I play a lot of horror games and The Curse of Elmwood is one of the worst i have touched so far. Without any backstory or introduction, you are thrown into a reddish castle or manor with seemingly endless corridors and closed doors. I have started running, but for 20 or so minutes the only progress i had, was to find a piece of paper saying something about clues in the bedroom. Ahh, and i saw an woman figure that probably was supposed to be scary. That's it. Twenty minutes running in the boring corridors for nothing. Now to add, the music is extremely annoying, few randomly shifting pieces with the quality of 8 bit Nintendo game sound, and (maybe the scariest part of the game) - the volume controls are not working! You have to listen to the annoying music at full volume all the time! All of this, plus the fact that my PC, able to run, idk, Baldurs gate 3 or Starfield with decent quality, almost melted while i was trying to play this, leads me to conclusion that the score of the game is 0/10 Dog Water
A cool, dark, and scary horror game, decent graphics, an interesting story, and everything is good
I like this game for its aesthetics, the puzzles here are also not bad
The game is atmospheric, creepy, and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end. The graphics are impressive, and the storyline is intriguing. I highly recommend this game to fans of the genre.
