From the creators of Golf Club Nostalgia and Highwater. Return to their whimsical, neon-lit apocalypse in a Jungle Book meets The Armageddon fusion. Parkour through the remains of humanity as a child being hunted, while catchy end-of-days tunes and curious survivor stories play on the radio.

Some of the levels are poorly designed, but overall this is a reminder of how good simple games can be. Absolutely worth the $ to pick it up and give a quick playthrough. Hopefully the company improves on their in house testing and game design in years to come (last 3 levels were 2 infuriatingly poorly designed ones and 1 milketoast final level, rest of game was awesome.)
If I could I'd give this one a sideways thumb cuz i have some mixed feelings about it. There's a lot here to enjoy but also a lot that drags it down. The environments are mostly really cool and interesting. The atmosphere is superb and the art looks great. I loved the radio and most of the music was great (some songs were meh). The dystopian theme of environmental destruction in late-stage capitalism was poignant and I really appreciated it. I also liked the newspapers and message bots you could collect throughout the game which gave some backstory as to the events that occurred in alpha city before the game started. However, as many other reviewers mentioned the gameplay sucks. The character's acrions in certain circumstances are inconsistent (like sometimes he'll grab onto ledges and sometimes he won't, causing you to fall to your death. The height of his jumps changes too sometimes). There's also a problem with the frequent unfair/unavoidable deaths. This game is roughly 2-ish hours long but took me almost twice that length because I kept having to restart sections due to unfair deaths where something unforseen or unvavoidable would take me out. Some of it was my fault, sure, but a lot of it seemed like poor level design or intentionally cruel. You essentially have to memorize certain portions of the game to get through them without dying. Another thing that annoyed me, and it's a small personal thing, was some of the character's idle animations. I would stop to take in the view or to listen to the radio and the character would start howling. Like shut up kid, I'm trying to enjoy the scenery and music >:(, Or he'd take off his helmet and sit on it which would turn off the radio. Again, I'm trying to listen to the radio wtf are you doing kid?? Small issues but still annoying. I would recommend it but only on sale.
Good game, Very frustrating in places. You will Die a lot. A bit on the short side, but bargain on sale.
The game have a terrible history and is all guided by "Karl May".
incredible game & shade
