The puzzles in this room escape game are rather simple, no real challenge. It lasts less than an hour and would have been fine at that point. But then there is the last achievement for finding a hidden room, that means pixel hunting for 4 invisible buttons across 25 screens. Reaching the last room nets the final achievement, no solving of the 4 puzzles within necessary. 2 of these puzzles are straightforward, 1 requires trying a few possible solutions (multiple solutions match the corresponding hint but only one works) and 1 with a hint which I could only decipher by knowing the solution after brute forcing it. The reward for solving those puzzles is one more screen, with only a single interactable that doesn't interact (seems broken) and no way to back out.

I am too retarded for this ♥♥♥♥
Easy short game but if you don't want to be left with broken achievements with no support since 2019, don't buy it.
Recommended ★★★★★ Hours Played: 1.3 The Chambers is a fantastic point-and-click escape game that really captures the essence of the genre. The setup is simple—you’re locked in mysterious chambers and need to find a way out—but the execution is excellent. The puzzles are clever, logical, and satisfying to solve. Every item you collect feels useful, and figuring out how and where to use them is part of the fun. Nothing feels random or unfair, which makes every solved puzzle feel rewarding rather than frustrating. The atmosphere is spot on too—minimal but mysterious, keeping you curious about what’s around the next corner. It’s the kind of game where you lose track of time as you experiment, combine, and unlock your way forward. If you enjoy classic escape room games with smart design and polished puzzles, The Chambers is absolutely worth playing. A must for fans of the genre.
pretty fun puzzle game to be honest. def worth a buck
A puzzly chamber game. I don't know what is going on, or what do i have to do, but hey i can turn on all the 3 lights at least :) Reminded me a bit of that visual basic weird russian puzzle application "game", except this is not remotely as weird.
The Chambers is a bit of shovelware from the known asset flippers and review manipulators from Russia, Conglomerate 5. This time it looks like they got their hands on someone else's pointless point and cick puzzle game ripping off the film "Cube". Click through various static environments in this shallow 1990's Flash Game tier entry that might as well be a browser game. And pay money to Russian asset flippers for the privilege. Or don't. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The game features mostly static, barely animated 2D images, the kind of thing you expect to see in browser/flash games. While the artwork itself, while mediocre, might be considered passable, the visual presentation here is negligible, it might as well be a slideshow or a Youtube video. Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Asteroids had more advanced animation and visuals going on than this game does. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just point and click stuff like a browser/Flash game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2025 (and this was released not so far back in 2018), gamers and the industry expect and deserve better than this kind of low effort shovelware. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 110,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ games on Steam? The Chambers is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
