Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

When you're stuck in a depression hellhole as Susan is for most of the story your world is entirely grey as her's seems to be. The cat lady is a painfully accurate portrayal of clawing your way out your mind when you already gave up on the world. I love this game with all my heart.

Pretty solid game! It's quite heavy and strange at times though, so I DO NOT recommend for everyone! I highly recommend for those who are at least 18 as it says.
I played this during a time of having severe suicidal thoughts; which is exactly why I wanted to play it. But I actually didn't find it as sad as I was expecting/hoping for, and I also didn't feel any more or less how I was before playing, so I think that's good? 🤣 That's just me though; please be cautious as you play if you as well have these thoughts or feel emotionally/mentally unstable, because it may be a different experience for you. Do take care of yourself! 💜 I get bored of games quite easily, but for a 2D game, it kept me hooked straight from the beginning. I got stumped on many puzzles too which I quite enjoy; it makes it more rewarding when you get past a hard spot! Some of the rock music was also 10/10! Wish there had been more of that! I think overall, for a 2012 game and being able to grab it on the 95% off sale, I'm really happy I got to play this and 100% it! 🥳 If you don't find interest in it from the gameplay trailer, don't get it. Because that's exactly the game right there. But if you do, grabbing it while on a sale you likely won't be disappointed in the purchase. Just proceed with caution that it may be rough sometimes, and take breaks every 30 minutes to an hour if needed!
I hope you enjoy it as I did! Best of luck!!

a great discovery of a game, i found this game while it was on sale and im glad to say that im happy i bought it! i'm someone who is horrible at puzzle games but surprisingly this was pretty easy to go through and figure out, i'm a huge fan of horror, there weren't many jumpscares but the imagery was a bit scary, some were a bit disturbing due to it being semi realistic but the art and animation is genuinly beautiful. this story was absolutely sad and it broke my heart going through every chapter, i even cried at the ending. such devastating story but with real life like situations and feelings. deppression is a main theme in this game and you can relate alot if you're someone going through a hard time but if you're not someone who goes through it, you can see how a person feels living with this mental illness. a story about life and death where you make choices of how you want the story to go, the music is really good too. i enjoy a bit of metal and rock music and one of my favorite songs were "dont you worry love" and "inside" by warmer. music sets just right for sad scenes and it made me feel like i was the character while playing. im going through some stuff myself and it made me open my eyes. this game is helped me see life in another way, in another persons view and given me good life advice i felt really emotional playing, this is the first puzzle/horror game i've ever sat down and actually finished. i highly reccomend this to others if they want a deep and amazing story. thank you for harvester games for making a masterpiece 🙏

The writing and production in these games are, like, strangely competent given what other 2010-era horror adventure games I've played. The story lines themselves are definitely not as subtle or as reserved as something like Silent Hill or Amnesia, but the place that this game coming from is so eager and sincere that I really can't help but respect and admire it as a whole. I've played games like these that only really come off as corny or immature, but The Cat Lady, for whatever reason, manage to transcend that in my eyes. Again, there's an emotional core to this game that I really appreciate; That sincere, earnest, 2010-era perspective that seems completely alien in today's harsher, more post-modern climate. There's even a scene where this 20-something-year-old goth woman introduces Susan, the game's middle-aged, bitter protagonist, to the concept of "Facebook" and "Internet Trolls" (I get a real kick out of seeing scenes like these). It's a game that 's completely and utterly honest and direct in what it's trying to be about. And, after playing and watching so... so many games and movies like Silent Hill 2 or Mulholland Drive -- works that are more allegorical than outwardly explicit in it's thematic explorations -- it's really fascinating to play something so unapologetic in what it's trying to communicate and explore with the player. I also want to praise the visual aesthetics and tone of the game as well. Everything is grimy, dirty, and made of stock textures and free sound effects. It's looks and plays like a deluxe version of those flash horror games you'd find online. I love everything that's going on here. It's about an old cat lady who goes out and kills psychopathic murderers and kidnappers to scream-o music. Isn't that just metal as hell? There's a sequence in this game where Susan plays on this piano set she owns, and it starts this really fun cutscene where all these cats jump from rooftop to rooftop to eat the meals she's prepared for them as this gaudy music starts to play in the background. It's probably one of the most memorable gaming moments that I've seen this year so far.
with the increase in the number of cats living in my flat and as someone who has suffered from significant depression in the past i see a potential crazy cat lady aka Susan Ashworth in myself, oh the game? 10/10
