Probably one of the strongest installments of Harvester Games. And it stills holds up well after so many years later. I'll bring some small spoilers ahead so be mindful what the game has to offer! You play as Susan, living in an apartment all by herself alone spending days of thinking what's even out there to bother with. Being the sole protagonist of the game she is tortured with too many thoughts along with the medicine your doctor prescribes, which ends up
being the antagonist. A not so mindful pervert and a psycho that secretly tortures other patients of his. Eventually Susan finds out when she... becomes dead by the hands of his own Doctor. Though eventually meets the Death herself: "The Queen of Maggots" and grants Susan resurrected life. However, you have few shots in this game which can lead to your own demise. Meaning there are stealth mechanics giving more immersive experience. You can die trying or actually do vengeance and kill the person who robbed your sanity and life along with other "parasites" The Queen of Maggots demands you to complete.
Susan also has a black cat named Teacup, a rare but sometimes worthy companion of her that sometimes guides and helps her out in some dire situations. Additionally your only friend being Mitzi as you progress.
Though once you get to know Mitzi more and bond together, you get to be revealed she has a brain cancer as how she also wears a wig to hide her shame and such. Both of you are lonely widows who simply want peace and revenge from all of this hellish escapade. Not to mention you have moments where you had to save and aid Mitzi couple of times.
Thus with many endings describing "some" good endings and some being a really sad tone and edge to them with the other ones. Genuinely describes a very well story and a sad one, especially for a woman in her age has gone through many stages of grief and sad life trying to find some sort of happiness. Instead getting lies and more tortures throughout her treatment worsening her situation until meeting same people like Mitzi who give some sort of hope to her life through this gritty and dark nature of a game. The Cat Lady simply does what it does, describing unhealthy thoughts that buzz your mind with negativity, all that depression and anxiety where all hope is loss yet you crave some sort of bittersweet moments as everything out there can be rancid but sometimes has good moments to satisfy sad moments. I cannot fathom enough how well the tone and ambience of the game describes it well even for a puzzle mechanics that require you to be gentle as every action can lead into consequences when the game tells you to. Highly recommend you to try this game.
the artstyle and story alone were enough to carry it for me, the gameplay isn't too great but if you're not looking for a mechanically engaging experience anyway its really worth the money it does lull a bit in the middle, but push through and you'll get a really satisfying ending depending on how you go about it, i liked this some of the puzzles are a bit convoluted, i wouldn't be ashamed of looking at a guide a couple times if a section is obnoxious, it'd just save time as some of the levels are a little tedious STILL A GOOD GAME ! WORTH THE MONEY
Surprisingly deep story which made for an interesting plot even on the second playthrough. The game was easy to navigate and easy to control. Highly recommend.
Juegazo, a pesar de sus sencillos gráficos tiene una historia muy entrañable

Good voice acting, nice art, good enough story and entertaining puzzles, Wouldn't think twice of buying it on sale if you like these type of games.
