I LOVE CATSSSS!!!
This is absolutely for cat lovers. People who don't own cats might be left thinking "WTF?" But for cat owners, this is gold. I finally feel I understand how frustrated my cat is from trying to catch birds while the window is in the way. The number of small touches and easter eggs in this game is insane. You'll probably needs less than 2 hours to unlock all the achievements with a guide + the process is bound to at least put a grin on your face. So don't be a bell end and refund it after finishing it. This dev clearly put in love and effort into this project and even for it's current price without a discount, I'd say it's worth it.

The Cat Games, developed by M. Hanka and published by Liu Lidan, is a cheerful celebration of feline personality packaged into a light, approachable indie experience. Rather than presenting a single continuous campaign or narrative arc, the game functions as a themed collection of cat-focused mini-games, each built around a different kind of playful activity. It immediately signals its intentions—this is a game designed for amusement rather than intensity, and almost every aspect of its presentation aims to appeal to people who genuinely enjoy the charm, unpredictability, and comedic qualities of cats. There’s no attempt at grand storytelling or layered thematic depth, yet it succeeds by embracing simplicity, comfort, and humor with sincerity. The structure revolves around three primary game modes, each distinct enough to feel like its own small title. Indoor racing places a cat in an obstacle-filled environment and challenges players to maintain momentum while timing jumps, ducks, and directional changes. The Swim Challenge mode switches the tone, introducing more reaction-based gameplay in a lighthearted aquatic setting where cats—traditionally not known for their love of water—are pushed into competitive swimming. Cat Breed Billiards is the most conceptually amusing of the trio, reimagining a classic game of pool with animated cats replacing the balls, turning each shot into a slapstick spectacle. These modes are joined by additional optional mini-games, encouraging players to chase achievements, personal bests, or leaderboard standings. Nothing overstays its welcome, and switching between them keeps the experience from feeling monotonous. A major draw is the game’s visual identity. Bright colors, expressive cat sprites, soft outlines, and charming animations give every mode a sense of warmth. Each featured cat breed has enough distinguishing detail to feel recognizable, adding a collector’s appeal as players encounter different feline designs. The tone is family-friendly and playful, avoiding stylistic extremes in favor of approachable cartoon aesthetics. Audio design reinforces this, leaning into upbeat music and light sound cues that stay pleasant even after extended play sessions. The overall presentation feels inviting and unpretentious, which is appropriate for a game meant to be opened casually rather than studied or mastered. The Cat Games also benefits from being highly accessible. The controls are simple enough for beginners or younger players, and the extremely low hardware requirements mean that nearly any modern or older PC can run it without performance concerns. Sessions can be as short or long as desired, making it ideal for quick gaming breaks or downtime. Players who enjoy trading cards, backgrounds, or Steam achievements also have extra incentives, as the game provides light meta-objectives that complement its already bite-sized structure. Its availability at a low price further supports its position as a casual comfort purchase rather than a major investment. At the same time, the game’s strengths clearly define its limitations. The mini-games, while entertaining, are mechanically shallow by design, and once the novelty of each mode has worn off, experienced players may find little reason to continue beyond completionist goals. There is no progression system, evolving challenge curve, or unlockable mechanics that change up the formula. Because of this, The Cat Games functions best as an occasional diversion rather than a title meant to be played intensively or repeatedly over long stretches. Players seeking deep physics systems, competitive structure, intricate level design, or narrative substance will quickly realize that wasn’t the developer’s intention. Still, it would be unfair to evaluate The Cat Games through a lens it never aimed to satisfy. Its success lies in offering wholesome amusement with a clear identity, and within that space it performs well. It captures feline energy—sometimes chaotic, sometimes graceful, always amusing—and translates it into gameplay that requires minimal effort to enjoy. It welcomes both children and adults, cat lovers and casual gamers, those looking to relax rather than focus. For people who simply want a lighthearted collection of cat-themed activities they can return to whenever they need a mood boost, the game delivers exactly that. Ultimately, The Cat Games thrives because it understands its audience and makes no attempt to be anything other than what it is: a playful, inexpensive, charming digital toy box full of cats. It won’t captivate players searching for complexity, but for anyone who smiles at the sight of animated whiskers and tiny paw-prints, it offers a cozy, low-pressure experience worth adding to a Steam library. Пожил обычную жизнь кота и пошёл спать
Если вы не знаете в лицо сомалийскую кошку, американского керла или турецкую ванскую кошку - вам нечего делать в этой игре
Personally not for me. I didn't find the minigames fun and only played the game for cheevos in the end. I can't point to a specific reason why. So if it looks interesting to you, it's probably fine. But you are paying for three very short minigames.
很好玩的小游戏,就是去油管看了攻略才拿到全成就……后来人如果有刷到的,那个打字的成就密码是ENIGMEOW
I really like this game because it's really calming and the artwork is really cute. It doesn't take up too much space so I can install and uninstall it whenever I want. I would totally recommend (^u^)
Very adorable little game, Cat Breed Billiards was my favorite. Also, items in points shop for this game are really good and must have!
