It's ok for $6 if you enjoy these types of games. Not great compared to other Supermassive titles, but still entertaining
will say i like this more than some of their other games. went into this not knowing much about dbd so im sure i missed plenty of the easter eggs. but even playing as someone from an outside perspective i loved the story. the pacing didnt feel too off. slighly rushed at points but altogether it was a great experience

История тесно связана с миром вселенной DBD. А без понимания правил игры, концовка вообще невменяемая получается. Интересный факт: Шериф Сэм и Мэди приходят к костру намного позже, чем Крис и Линда (видимо время тянется по разному в мире сущности), и по словам Крис и Линды они уже понимают куда вляпались и уже прошли несколько испытании... Сюжет игры про Четверых молодых людей которые решили снять свои фильм ужасов на территории заброшенного завода, где несколько лет назад поимали реального серийного убийцу Френка Стоуна. Но сьемки фильма пошли не по плану. Игра перемещает нас во времени, то в прошлое когда они снимали, фильм, то в будущее, когда их фильм уже снят и его последствия Кстати любопытный повесточный факт: Мэди говорит в одном из диалогов: Бони это одна из двух моих матерей. Видимо это отсылка режиссера к своему детству, где у него было два отца. Из минусов: - звук хромает, сабы анг а звук русский - много роликов, реально за игру процентов 30 ты играешь, остальное ты смотришь фильм - слишком темная игра, прям требует HDR

Что я могу сказать про данную игру... Вполне достойный представитель жанра интерактивного кино. Сюжет не плохой и вполне интересно участвовать и наблюдать за происходящим. Но есть огромный минус, это оптимизация - она ужасна. На rtx 4060 игра тормозит, кадры постоянно приседают. Качество русификации, так же, хромает на обе ноги - баланс звука отсутствует, иногда диалоги звучат слишком тихо, а в следующий момент слишком громко, диалоги прерываются. По итогу остались смешанные впечатления. Рекомендую покупать только фанатам жанра и обязательно по большой скидке.

I didn't play this for years because everyone hated it but it was fine. Certainly more enjoyable than man of medan or little hope.
This review is [b]spoiler-free[/b] Honestly, it's alright. I got it on deal for 5€ and at that price it's a great deal, especially because you get a nice light blue shirt cosmetic on a lot of characters in DBD. But I would absolutely not recommend this game at its full price. You can just watch a youtube playthrough and get about 90% of the experience (seriously). I finished the game in 5 hours. About 85% of the game consists of cutscenes with occasional skillchecks or a decision between two choices. You will be constantly switching between different timelines and characters. The other 15% is fairly basic gameplay. Walk around an area and explore it a little. There are some collectibles but the game didn't make me want to go out of my way to find them. Although I must admit some of them are very adorable, there are plushies of a bunch of DBD killers and they're super cute! There are very basic puzzles but they are simple and the game usually even tells you exactly what to do. So you'll mainly be playing this game for the story, which honestly was pretty alright to me. I do think it's worth experiencing the story at least once. Depending on your choices, certain characters can either die or survive, and it will alter which exact story you experience. However the actual story impact of your choices seems low, I killed two characters in my playthrough and I don't think it really affects the overall story and ending too much. And unfortunately cutscenes are unskippable so if you want to explore every fate and ending you will have to rewatch them a bunch of times, which will take you probably over 25h. And due to the high volume of unskippable cutscenes compared to very little and very basic gameplay, this game has low replayability. Personally I have no interest in exploring the other lines. While this game does play in the same universe as DBD, the story is fairly disconnected from DBD. There are similar themes and the entity plays a role. The game has DBD generators, some DBD sounds and DBD-like skill checks, plus DBD-themed collectibles which to me was pretty cute. But it's absolutely not a vital role. DBD fans will probably appreciate this game more for that reason but this game is absolutely not a necessity to play even for DBD diehard fans Graphics were pretty decent. Performance was good overall but the game has occasional few second stutters when it loads in new areas. So in conclusion: Get it at discount if you want to experience the story, otherwise just watch a Youtube Walkthrough, Otz has one!
