The Box is Alive

Love the original platforming mechanics and show-don't-tell storytelling. Who is Arboreal Shipping? What was the great shipping disaster? You'll just have learn to do a rolling double jump to find out.

Quite a fun game, who knew being a box is such a challenge. Its nice that you can interract wiht a lot of the environment . Controls are a but hard to get for a bit, but then it becomes natural.

Cute platformer, love the premise. Just getting started on the first level but really love it so far. Nice sense of humor with fun extra mcguffins throughout the level you can get if you're feeling brave. For the most part I enjoyed the platforming, although it got a little bit finicky in a few places (mainly around fitting the box in tight spaces).

Box is alive is such a unique platformer. The game has a proper indie feel to it without missing out on the finesse. The music, the art, the subtleties in giving cues to me as a player feels good. It was a bit difficult at first to get used to the controls but I got used to it pretty soon. Its not a like button mashing platformer, and demands your attention and focus on the box. But once I did that I realised there are multiple ways to finish the levels. But what is Boreal though? O_O

挺有潜力的一款物理平台跳跃游戏。 箱子的滚动再加上二段跳，刚开始玩会觉得有点难控制，箱子经常滚得比脑子快，看着确实挺像搞怪游戏。但玩熟之后就不一样了，滚动接起跳，再在空中调整位置，整套动作可以做得很顺，操作好的时候甚至有点跑酷的感觉。 关卡设计也挺对我胃口。大部分地方看一眼就知道该往哪走，不太会卡在找路上，但真正跳起来还是需要一点操作。有些地方还能自己找到更快的过法，第一次抄近道成功落到平台上的时候真的挺爽，会觉得自己好像摸到了这套操作的门道。 音乐也不错，和游戏的氛围很搭。连续几次没跳过去的时候本来挺容易急的，但听着背景音乐又觉得算了再试一次。总之很推荐玩玩看。

Give it ten minutes and you're hooked! this taps into some childish part of my brain where everything could be turned into a toy. When you get the controls down you start moving the box around way more fluidly and it becomes fun to explore, objects you avoided you end up rushing to check out! Good afterwork chill out game!
