Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Richtig tolle und witzige Story, macht umso mehr Spaß wenn man auch den ersten Teil gespielt hat
A bit long, a bit chatty, but surely broadening and beautiful.
Tem ótimos puzzles e um certo charme. Não ficou tanto na minha memória com o passar do tempo.

Fun and charming point and click game. There are some less than good puzzles and the pacing can be a bit slow at times. But in general it is a charming game well worth a try for adventure fans.
Ich find das Spiel klasse und kann mich den meisten Positiven Rezensionen nur Anschließen.
The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is a fantasy adventure game developed by KING Art Games and published by THQ Nordic. As the sequel to a beloved point-and-click series, it embraces the traditions of classic adventure gaming while presenting a larger world, improved production values, and an even stronger sense of humor. Set in the magical realm of Aventásia, the game blends epic fantasy storytelling with clever satire, creating an experience that appeals both to longtime adventure fans and players who enjoy lighthearted fantasy narratives. The story follows several familiar heroes whose lives become entangled in a new crisis threatening the balance of their world. Strange magical events begin occurring across the land, transforming creatures and disrupting everyday life. What starts as a collection of personal struggles gradually evolves into a larger quest involving ancient mysteries, dangerous forces, and unexpected revelations. The narrative succeeds because it never takes itself too seriously. While the stakes are often significant, the script constantly delivers witty observations, playful references, and entertaining character interactions that keep the tone enjoyable from beginning to end. One of the game's strongest qualities is its cast of playable characters. Each protagonist has a distinct personality and role within the story, allowing players to experience events from different perspectives. Their contrasting attitudes create many of the game's funniest moments while also adding emotional depth to the adventure. The relationships between the characters feel natural, and their individual storylines eventually come together in a satisfying way. Even secondary characters leave memorable impressions thanks to strong writing and humorous dialogue. Gameplay remains firmly rooted in traditional point-and-click mechanics. Players explore a variety of locations, interact with objects, collect inventory items, and solve a large assortment of puzzles. The challenges are generally logical and rewarding, encouraging observation and experimentation rather than relying on obscure solutions. Some puzzles require switching between characters and coordinating their actions, which adds variety and prevents the gameplay from becoming repetitive. The adventure is lengthy and filled with optional interactions, making exploration feel worthwhile throughout the campaign. Visually, the game presents a colorful fantasy world filled with detailed environments and imaginative designs. Every area is packed with personality, from bustling settlements to magical landscapes and mysterious ruins. The artistic direction emphasizes charm and creativity over realism, giving the world a timeless quality. Character animations are expressive and help reinforce the game's comedic tone, while environmental details often contain hidden jokes and references that reward attentive players. The audio presentation contributes significantly to the overall experience. Voice acting is consistently excellent, bringing humor and emotion to the dialogue while helping each character feel unique. The soundtrack complements both the adventurous and comedic elements of the story, creating an atmosphere that feels grand when necessary and playful during lighter moments. Together, the music and voice performances elevate the production far beyond what many adventure games typically achieve. Another notable strength is the sheer scale of the adventure. The campaign offers dozens of hours of content, numerous locations to explore, and a large number of puzzles to solve. Rather than simplifying mechanics for modern audiences, the game fully embraces the depth and complexity associated with classic adventure titles. This commitment will particularly appeal to players who enjoy taking their time, uncovering secrets, and immersing themselves in richly developed worlds. The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is not without minor flaws. Some puzzles can be time-consuming, and certain jokes rely heavily on fantasy and gaming references that may not resonate equally with everyone. The deliberate pacing and old-school design philosophy may also feel demanding to players accustomed to more streamlined modern adventures. However, these issues do little to diminish the overall quality of the experience. Ultimately, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 stands as one of the finest modern point-and-click adventures available. Its combination of clever writing, memorable characters, engaging puzzles, beautiful fantasy environments, and high production values creates a thoroughly enjoyable journey. The game successfully honors the legacy of classic adventure titles while offering enough personality and charm to stand on its own. For fans of fantasy storytelling and traditional adventure gameplay, it delivers an entertaining and rewarding experience that remains memorable long after the final puzzle has been solved. Rating: 9/10
Ich mag den Humor und die verschiedenen Rätsel und die Gestaltung der einzelnen Kapitel mit den verschiedenen Orten
buggy, and from the "all characters are annoying" school of writing it's not terrible, it made me chuckle a few times, but overall the writing is predictable and not to my taste. got stuck in a room (headmaster's desk) - literally, cannot leave or interact with anything. save/load/restart doesn't help, there are no actions, cannot even talk to the headmaster. giving up on this one
Great game. Just like the first with a compelling story, likable characters, and a very long game for a point and click. All of which I look for in these types of games. Great job.
