About
Pilots from all around the world are gathering to challenge each other on a danger-filled course. You are making the final preparations and your ship, The Blue Flamingo, is ready in the hangar.
Shoot your way through intense levels with swiftly increasing difficulty. Invest your score in upgrades or save your score to gain interest with the risk of losing it all.
This is a game that challenges you to reach the highest possible score, made interesting by an economical system that allows you to invest your score in upgrades, which makes earning more score points easier. But on the other hand, you are rewarded with interest on what is left of your score when you progress to the next level. Therefore, you must make a choice - upgrade and try to regain the score or rely on your skills to beat the increasingly difficult levels. Act wisely to beat your friends and climb up the score table.
Experience a bite-sized shoot 'em up game created entirely with handmade models. A 32-foot long handcrafted model was built for the game, along with countless props and assets that were filmed and photographed. All the effects, rocket flares and explosions were created with firecrackers and pyrotechnics.

This game went on my wishlist after seeing it on an episode of Ross's Game Dungeon. Eventually got it on sale for super cheap. Definitely not worth full price. It plays like an old Flash game. Very rudimentary shoot 'em up with minimal enemy variety, zero weapon variety, no powerups, and "upgrades" between levels are nearly useless. The idea of the level backgrounds being live action dioramas is novel, but unfortunately they didn't film these in a high resolution or framerate so it looks awful in any resolution above 720p. Honestly the art direction ends up hamstringing the game. Fun for a few minutes, but that's it. Disappointing overall. It really looks like the developers put a lot of love and effort into it, just not where it counts.
Охуенная игра! шведам спасибо, стоит своих деняг
The visuals are gorgeous but the gameplay is incredibly bland and unengaging.
Yes, it's basic, but in my opinion it is a great balance of crazy and chill. I'm getting old and the old reflexes aren't what they used to be, but this scratches the SHMUP itch nicely without giving me unnecessary stress. Get it on sale and spend half an hour or more playing and it'll feel like a good purchase. Art style is the icing on the cake.
Cool art, boring gameplay,
If Wes Anderson made a Galaga shooter. Cool soundtrack, and art. TLDR: Not worth $9.99.
Had to get this. Art Work.
A rather generic score-attack SHMUP with decent graphics for its genre but entirely uninteresting gameplay. The main menu and background didn't render properly, instead always showing SMPTE-like color bars.
It's not "bad" per say but just feels a bit stale now, Gameplay is lacking depth and fluidity, and it just seems to lack some sort of progression or payback. Basically feels like a polished game-jam or flash-browser game.
