Portabilidade mobile mal feita

[th]A história é interessante?[/th] [th]Sua mecânica é inovadora/divertida?[/th] [th]Ele desperta sentimentos no jogador?[/th]

🔴 🔴 🔴

you have to rotate the camera to facilitate movement, so the game makes me a little motion-sick fun game, other than that.
Levels are repetitive and same-y. Even though there are 30 or so levels, almost all of them are nearly the same. When aiming for 3 stars in every level, later levels become very frustrating and trial & error. You will fall or otherwise be launched into a new section, not be able to react in time and you'll miss a dupling with no way of going back, forcing you to replay the whole level again. This is all made worse by bad controls that frequently drop your inputs and enemies that are sometimes practically impossible to avoid. Lastly, for completionism purposes, the "rarest" achivements either require extreme grinding or are bugged & might not unlock (much of them don't for me). It's just not worth it.
Developed by Catfishbox and published by Hook Games, The Big Journey is a delightful physics-driven platforming adventure that proves an engaging game does not need complicated mechanics or an epic storyline to leave a lasting impression. The adventure centers on Mr. Whiskers, a plump and irresistibly lovable cat whose life revolves around one simple pleasure: eating delicious dumplings. When the mysterious disappearance of his favorite dumpling chef disrupts his peaceful routine, the feline hero embarks on a globe-spanning quest filled with colorful landscapes, quirky characters, and countless culinary discoveries. The premise is intentionally lighthearted, but its warmth and humor create an inviting atmosphere that immediately draws players into its charming world. Rather than focusing on fast-paced action or difficult platforming, The Big Journey builds its gameplay around realistic physics and momentum. Players guide Mr. Whiskers as he rolls, bounces, and leaps across handcrafted stages, carefully using gravity and timing to overcome environmental hazards and reach new areas. The controls are intuitive enough for newcomers to enjoy almost immediately, while the physics system introduces just enough unpredictability to make movement entertaining throughout the adventure. Every jump and tumble reinforces the playful nature of the game, encouraging experimentation instead of punishing mistakes. It is a relaxing experience that rewards patience and curiosity far more than lightning-fast reflexes. The adventure unfolds across six unique regions that each introduce fresh scenery, obstacles, and gameplay ideas. From peaceful forests and rocky caverns to sunlit deserts and other imaginative environments, every location possesses its own distinct personality and visual identity. The game's thirty handcrafted levels are thoughtfully designed to gradually introduce new mechanics without overwhelming players, maintaining a steady pace that feels satisfying from beginning to end. Exploration is encouraged through hidden pathways, collectible treats, and encounters with memorable animal companions, giving players plenty of reasons to venture beyond the most direct route through each stage. One of the game's greatest accomplishments is its presentation. The colorful, storybook-inspired art style gives every environment a cheerful and welcoming appearance, while expressive animations breathe life into Mr. Whiskers and the world around him. The oversized feline protagonist is especially memorable, with his rotund body serving as both a source of humor and an essential gameplay mechanic. Watching him roll down hills, bounce off obstacles, or eagerly devour another meal never loses its appeal. Instead of chasing graphical realism, the developers embrace a timeless visual style that complements the game's whimsical tone and helps it remain visually appealing years after its release. The soundtrack further enhances the experience with a collection of relaxing, upbeat compositions that perfectly suit the leisurely pace of the adventure. Each region features music that reinforces its atmosphere without becoming repetitive or distracting. Combined with satisfying sound effects for movement, environmental interactions, and food collection, the audio creates a comforting backdrop that makes exploring every level feel enjoyable. The game's overall presentation consistently emphasizes positivity and relaxation, making it an ideal choice for players seeking a stress-free adventure. Beyond its charming campaign, The Big Journey also includes features that add long-term value. Steam achievements encourage players to revisit completed stages, while full controller support ensures comfortable gameplay across different setups. Steam Cloud functionality allows progress to be synchronized across compatible devices, making it convenient to continue the adventure wherever players choose to play. Although the overall campaign is relatively short compared to larger platforming titles, the polished design and replay incentives help extend its appeal for completionists who enjoy uncovering every secret. The game is not entirely without shortcomings. Players looking for an extensive narrative, deep progression systems, or particularly demanding platforming challenges may find the experience somewhat limited. The physics-based movement, while entertaining, can occasionally behave unpredictably during more precise jumps, leading to minor moments of frustration. Fortunately, these instances are infrequent and rarely overshadow the game's overwhelmingly cheerful personality. The Big Journey understands exactly what it wants to be and avoids unnecessary complexity, choosing instead to deliver a consistently enjoyable and accessible adventure. Overall, The Big Journey succeeds because of its irresistible charm, polished physics-based gameplay, colorful world design, and lovable protagonist. Every aspect of the experience is built around creating a relaxing, feel-good adventure that welcomes players of all skill levels. While its modest length and gentle difficulty prevent it from becoming a landmark platformer, its creativity, personality, and heart make it an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a cozy and entertaining experience. It is a wonderful reminder that a simple concept, executed with care and imagination, can be every bit as memorable as a much larger production. Rating: 8/10
总共5分: 操作自动恢复水平 -1 滞涨物理引擎 -1 糖果世界关卡设计 -1 糖果世界最后一关飞虫全吃完了还不够 -1 糖果世界三星通关就是坐牢 -1 结果:零分! 5 points in total: Operation automatically restores level-1 Candy World level Design -1 It's not enough to eat all the flies in the last level of candy world. -1 Stupid Physics Engine 1 Full stars absolutely Torture Experience-1 Result: Zero points!
I'm ultimately going to recommend this game, but it is a tepid recommendation due to the increasingly frustrating flaws (almost exclusively due to the absolutely atrocious responsiveness of the keyboard and mouse controls, which result in you fighting not the puzzles/platforming challenges but rather the ability of the game to recognize that you have tilted the screen and/or hit the jump button). Positives: Gameplay basics -- It's a relatively enjoyable platformer/puzzle platformer where you use the arrow keys to tilt the screen and the space bar to jump your roly-poly cat in a quest for dumplings and (really?!!?) fireflies. These are essentially two different sorts of collectibles and hitting obstacles and creatures/enemies will make you drop one of your dumplings (which will eventually disappear if you don't snatch it back in time) but thankfully not the insects. In order to get three stars you have to get the required amount of dumplings (the hardest portion), insects (for 4/5 of the game the most forgiving portion) and beat the time requirement (again for the first four of five worlds, usually not too difficult). Oh, and you also take pictures of certain scenes and moments, including finding new animal friends (yet another type of collectible, I suppose). Fun Value -- It's mostly entertaining despite the repetitive nature of the level design, and mostly easy enough to get three stars for each level, even if you have to replay a level once or twice to get them all. For most of the levels it only provides minor frustration......but that's not always the case...... Aesthetics/Graphics -- You can play this on a potato, and it generally is quite pleasingly cute/colourful and fanciful in its level design, albeit eventually repetitive. Negatives: Controls -- Believe the negative hype......the ability to change the screen's orientation and jump simlutaneously is so very hit and miss as to bring about some (initially brief and not enough to notice, but eventually bloody well omnipresent) frustration as you vainly attempt to proceed through the levels in a timely fashion, collecting the dumplings and insects to gain stars. You can smash that space bar (or whatever) to jump all you want, but it doesn't always register, and it often seems to not work when you're simultaneously attempting to shift the screen's orientation to make an angled jump (increasingly necessary to get the hard-to-reach dumplings and/or insects), and by the time you reach the last world (and then the adventure levels beyond that) you will be conjugating the vilest profanity in your mental armoury about the controls and their lack of responsiveness! Some achievement grindiness and/or bugginess -- While most achievements are quite naturally accumulated throughout the course of level progression, some of the photograph based achievements are rather hit-and-miss, especially the very last one with the spinners on level 29 which may require you to delete a shot from your computer and play the level again if you don't get it just right. And the monster killing achievement requires some serious grinding to finally pop (1000 monsters, really?!?!?!). So, all in all, taken as a whole, it's a charming and largely easy and enjoyable platformer, whose control-based quirks and wonky achievements will eventually bring about great frustration. Recommended with serious reservations......
