You try to create a good build across more or less random encounters and shops where you somehow never get the stuff you need for your build. At some point you have maybe created a somewhat decent build only to get completely obliterated by someone with a busted meta build that kills you in 2 seconds.

good game, disgusting pricing model.
Fantastic hours played to dollar ration! Love being able to leave a run and come back to it later.

Game is a fever dream of TFT/Hearthstone/Backpack Battles/and hell even MTG
Tremendous "card" game! Zero barrier to entry, just click Play and get into it. Easy to get stuck in a loop of "just one more game". Lots of variety, and lots of fun finding overpowered combinations. The whole game is about finding powerful item combos and it's very satisfying to get a good build going. I also enjoy the reality check of running into REALLY powerful players. Solid, well built game.
