Absolutely worth even 30 dollars. My playtime came mostly from the 3 heroes included in the base game. You can have hundreds of hours of good, fun gameplay without needing to buy another hero. I really dont get the negative reviews about the pricing. Obviously perfect on the steam deck.

The game is nice, but the problem is that it’s totally random—it doesn't help you at all in finding the items or enchantments you actually need. For instance, Karnok has a limited pool of enchantments, yet he always offers ones that don't synergize with your abilities at all. I’ve had "improve poison items" show up twice in a row when I didn't even own a single poison item. Or, I’ll have a fire-based build, but instead of a fire enchantment, the game offers healing or crit boosts—which are completely useless. You might check six different merchants and not find a single item that complements what you already have. Basically, the game would be playable if it had even a shred of AI logic to align the offerings with your current items and abilities.
