The Atlas Mystery: A VR Puzzle Game

Great VR puzzle adventure game with varied puzzles, a good setting with a nice background story. Not the longest game ever but I still enjoyed it very much.

It is a pretty decent VR Escape Room set in atmospheric old cinema. Lasts 2-3 hours, which is reasonable for this genre. Most of its puzzles are original and fit neatly into the game's theme. They are not very difficult, but I've ended up stuck twice, due to not paying enough attention to the surroundings. Item handling is relatively smooth for a fully physics-based interactions, but there are still some minor jank going on. Visuals are slightly below modern standards: some parts look ok, but most are lacking HD textures and proper lighting. Overall I quite enjoyed the game and finished it in one sitting. Works on Reverb G2 with native OpenXR

Love the game. The controls on my PICO 4 was spot on. I like that it has all the necessary navigational methods for a proper VR game. I played this game sitting down and mostly had no issue. Puzzles were a little easy for me but not overwhelmingly easy. It's a good stress relief for an hour or two. It's a little short. Wished it was a little longer.

Either the newest update of the game or updating to Windows 11 finally allowed me to play the game I bought about a year ago. If you experienced hands glued to the ground in the game, maybe this helps you, too, and maybe you want to buy it again if you refunded it for that reason - because the game is actually really good and for me worth the wait. Great atmosphere, a captivating mystery to resolve and puzzles that are not too easy but also don't get you stuck for hours on end, all accompanied by a perfectly matching sound track. Some minor nuisances with the controls and handling (not as smooth as some other similar games, seated position is too higher, standing position too low - means it's not a hundred percent comfortable to play), I would totally recommend the game. It gets a bit creepy towards the end, but there are no jump scares - so nothing to worry about if this isn't your thing. Took me about two and a half hours to complete, I don't think a first playthrough is possible in much less than one and half unless you're some sort of puzzle game prodigy. The puzzles may seem a bit artificial at first, that actually makes sense in the story of the game.

Clunky interface--grabbing and/or dropping occurs seemingly randomly.

Ein schön gemachtes und interessantes Rätselspiel, was mir gut gefallen hat. Die Spielzeit ist mit ca. 2 Stunden relativ kurz. Ich bin auch über einige nervige Bugs und Glitches gestolpert. Es scheint nicht gut optimiert zu sein. Aber alles in allem ein gutes Spiel für alle Escape Room und Rätselfans.

Fun "Escape Room" type puzzle game, a genre which works really well in VR. Puzzles are clever without being too obtuse, which is a really fine line to walk. Only complaint I really have is that it's rather short.
