The Art of Reflection

I found this game when I was looking for something like Manifold Gardens. I really like this, I wish there were more games with this general vibe of calm but insane puzzles in an open space.

I've hardly even touched the bonus puzzles yet, but even after beating the main game, I gotta say this is one of the best metroidbrainias out there. It has very good puzzles and mechanics, is very well paced, and has a satisfying knowledge based progression. Looking forward to doing the bonus ones, they've been pretty difficult from what I've seen so far.

Если вы любите пространственные головоломки, игры с отражениями, изменением плоскостей, поиском нестандартных решений, то это чистый кайф. Но для комфорта рекомендуется мышь с возможностью свободного вращения колёсика. Правда пару раз на игре видяха внезапно просто отключалась, завешивая всю систему, но я подозреваю, что проблема в моей видеокарте, потому что там есть нехорошие симптомчики по питанию.

A good puzzle game which has a simple concept but has depth. At first, I slept on The Art of Reflection thinking 'Yes, mirrors can flip some shapes - but the game can't be much more than that.' After playing, I can verify that the game [i]does[/i] do more than that - I was delightfully surprised by how clever some of the solutions were with a relatively simple mechanic set. I can imagine this game being headache inducing if you're not comfortable with rapid movements through space, or unexpected spatial orientations. Also, expect to be humbled trying to visualise puzzles in 3D when mirrors are involved. Playtime to completion took me about two days.

A little trippy, with excellent sound design. Excellent puzzles. Also has a custom engine made in the D programming language. Which is just to prove that its very feasible to use it for gamedev!

非常烧脑 如果有第三人称就舒服很多了，不过这可能也是有意设计的 坏处就是很多时候的通关并不直观

反射とワープのパズル。落ち着いた雰囲気が良いです。 一人称視点パズル好きならまず外れないと思います。

很有想象力的游戏，但是不知道为什么我已经把所有还有光的门都去过一遍了还是没有全收集呢？而且不是差一两个的那种，是每一关都差了两到三个，不知道该怎么找剩下的了……

While some of the puzzles were a bit difficult, the overall quality of the game made me wanna beat it regardless.
