Tesla vs Lovecraft

Fun game, good controls, horde survival twin stick shooter, one of my favorite genres and two of my favorite themes between Cosmic Horror and Tesla Tech. So cool. Really fun. I beat the game in 3 hours or so on normal plane (mode). There are two more planes to do this on that are harder. Lots of unlocks and progression tables for grinding up the upgrades to push farther into the difficulty. A little RNG goes a long way as certain combinations are just devastating others. Anytime I get the tesla ray and choose several barrel upgrades and piercing and ricochet, it's GG to the map and just teleport the outskirts and firing inward. If I RNG that combination of upgrades, it's GG. I beat the final stage in the game without effort from this once I figured out the best things to stack to fill the map with non-stop damaging attacks and not need secondaries or shields or the mech at all.

C'est plus resserré qu'un Vampire Survivor et parfois frustrant car le décor est là pour vous mettre des bâtons dans les roues, sauf que une fois les mécaniques de jeu comprises, et que nos compétences augmentent, Tesla vs Lovecraft devient une sucrerie. L'on peu assimiler quantités d'upgrades, obtenir des armes délicieusement destructrices et tout platiner en quelques secondes là où avant on galérait. La difficulté est bien dosée, les musiques répétitives font malgré tout le taf. Surement très fun à jouer en coop. Il semblerait que le DLC y fasse pour beaucoup dans l'ajout de fun, l'ayant acheté à la reprise sur ce jeu, je ne peu que valider son achat, j'y prends plus de plaisir à défourailler du monstre cosmique. Je recommande en promotion il mérite de s'y essayer, voir d'y accrocher.

Embora um jogo com uma proposta tão "estranha" de colocar o inventor Nicola Tesla contra o escritor H.P. Lovecraft, a mágica não está na história, mas sim na gameplay rogue like de fases. Com uma variedade de inimigos e de armas, dá para passar muito tempo nesse jogo. A platina dele não dura muito tempo, embora um grande problema seja a repetição de bosses e fases, sendo um tanto quanto incômodo. Fora isso, vale a pena comprar o jogo. (Não joguei a dlc)

Когда-то до стима играл в пиратку, уже тогда прошёл её на 100 раз вдоль и поперёк. Нонче купил и опять с радостью прохожу. Супер игра, чтоб взбодриться, не чересчур сложная, но и не скучная. Даже пройдя всё, можно продолжать набивать очки в бесконечном режиме. Осталось только попробовать играть в режиме с другом.

I don't have the most experience with this genre, but I have absolutely adored playing this game in short bursts. I use it as a palate cleanser in between other games. Yes it depends on RNG a lot, but I view that as a positive rather than a negative because it makes those crazy runs where everything lines up for you so much more satisfying.

I've completed this now on Steam and the PS4. It's a nice little twin-stick shooter with fun, basic mechanics. It may get slightly repetitive after a while, but it's short enough to not overstay its welcome. Recommended if you can get it on sale.
