Very very buggy game.... Tried to play it, but a lot of bugs made the experience the worst. I regret because I bought this...

Still very early access, but there is a lot of potential in this title and I'm enjoying it quite a bit despite the current issues. I can only see this game getting better and better the more time it has in the oven.

The moment I began to go down my first slope, it immediately gave me nostalgia. It reminded me a little of Tony Hawk's Pro-skater. I used to play that game a lot as a teen with my cousins. Great memories! Playing Powder VR was my first experience of a first person sport immersed in VR. I do prefer the rhythm games in VR so playing this was branching out for me even though I do ski. I have to say, it is intense! On a scale of 1-10 I'd rate this as an 8. I did get some vertigo going around corners, but I think the more time I spend in this game, it will get better. The sense of locomotion in VR can be different for everyone. If you like skiing and snowboarding, or want to try out the sport while doing tricks, having access to customization, and/or you are the type of person that doesn't want the risk of getting hurt on the real slopes, check it out! You can have your own x-games in the comfort of your living room.

premetto che sono appassionato di snowboard e di videogiochi, il gioco allo stato attuale è uno schifo, c'è tutto da sistemare, il gioco a volte non mi parte nemmeno. Fatta questa premessa, messa la tavola e presa dimestichezza con il sistema di movimento il gioco è puro spettacolo, qui raggiungiamo la vera essenza della VR per me, un immedesimazione pura, una bella curva in neve fresca ampia, piuttosto che saltare da una cunetta alta o bassa che sia e chiudersi per innescare la rotazione continua, con lo sguardo a favore di direzione rende l’esperienza molto simulativa. Consiglio assolutamente questo prodotto soprattutto agli appassionati, a chi non conosce lo sport suggerisco cmq di aspettare che sia più completo in modo da aspettare magari un tutorial. Spero che gli sviluppatori portino avanti il progetto fino alla fine con idee sempre nuove. Consiglio per gli sviluppatori: -mettete un tutorial per spiegare la carvata e come innescare le rotazioni nelle fasi aeree. -da implementare il refresh dell’immagine -aggiungete assolutamente snowpark, magari accessibili in multiplayer come se fossimo in un park normale -sistemate la postura del personaggio che è tutto tranne che stiloso Buona continuazione e grazie

id love to recommend this as it has promise but its so flawed. i have a fairly good pc yet the graphics are glitchy as hell. i have this weird glitch around me and even on lowest settings its still bad. run other vr games with no issue. the physics arent the best but are playable but the biggest issue is the calibration you must do every time you go to load anything. you must stand in a tiny circle and press a button. if you are off by an inch it wont load correctly, leaving you in a limbo white screen (i suspect its half the reason for the bad glitching around my character). there is a lot of comments stating same issue so im unclear on why its still in the game. no other game i own makes me do this. if it gets a big update of better graphics with smoother movement and the centring circle dropped completely i might give it another go
