I’m a big tennis fan and a long‑time player of tennis videogames. I recently moved to PC gaming after a lifetime on consoles, and I finally got to try this game I had been wanting for years. My expectations were not only met, but exceeded: - the ball physics are simply the best I’ve ever seen - the game is very simulation‑focused; it takes time to master, but every shot you hit is "yours", never scripted, and every minute spent training pays off as your experience grows - even starting in “arcade” mode, you’re still the one executing the shots — nothing automated or scripted like Virtua Tennis; it’s just an easier mode compared to the other two, not a true arcade style - the feeling of playing a real match is fantastic: hitting a clean 1‑2 after a good serve, dealing with a deep return at your feet, the satisfaction of firing a powerful shot near the line, defending by simply pushing the ball back, or missing into the net because you mistimed the shot, not because the game decided it -There are plenty of modes like season, tournaments, and more. I bought it on sale for €5.60 and it’s an absolute steal. Highly recommended to all tennis fans — just spend at least an hour in training first to understand the unique gameplay.

a really excellent tennis sim that becomes punishing at higher difficulty levels. enjoyable, but for me personally anything above Master 3 is nigh-on impossible. It is VERY customizable however, so you can really tailor your difficulty experience. its 13 years old now so obviously doesn't look as good as some of the modern games, but they are much more on-rails, Fifa style games where you have a few set animations and about a dozen set rallies. this is the Pro Evo of tennis games, in that it feels like a tennis ball simulator rather than a player simulator. i love it, but it's hard.
